I have seen tons of off-road od style Lights so I have my expectations. I’ll tell you that these easily blew all of my expectations.This is truly a non sponsored review. I will just lay this information out to make it easier to read1.Out of the box they’re packaged very well in foam. Personally I can’t stand all the plastic waste so take that as you will2 they are a very nice weight. They do not feel lights and cheap light some amazon pod lightsThe aluminum body is painted in this berry slick black paint as opposed to most lights using a matte finish and I will say it makes the light feel great, and will probably help with keeping mud and other road debris off.Also the cord seems to be high quality insulation. It is nice and flexible and not a stiff cord3.Light out put. Here’s the factsThe lights spread is really nice with a wide rectangular output. It has very nice clean edges which is not common for these lights.The color temperature and unity also needs to be mentioned as usually cheap leds have yellow and blue sections in the light output from the cheaper leds. But this light legitimately blew me away with how perfectly crisp,uniform, and monochromatic it is. The light is slightly more blue than I prefer. But not nearly not bad enligh for me to care too much.Also want to include the high quality hard ware that came with the set. Specifically the silicone gasket that came with it versus the typical black foam or cheap black rubberOne things I can’t attest to is the longevity as I only powered them up to turn them on. But fingers crossed they perform well there too.Thoroughly impressed with these recessed pod lights. And even if I can’t find a use for them I will be keeping them for the collection
