Perfect combo for oily nails
Because of my oily nails, the gel polish was easily peeled off just a day after or chipped, even with the whole prep. Which was frustrating. I read online that builder gel helps. And it’s perfect! This in particular is easy to apply, because it is essentially like a gel nail polish just thicker and more sticky. Which is fine after curing.

A miracle in a bottle. Creates great length!
I've had this Biab in my kit for months and I decided to finally experiment and try and build on my own nails, I've got to say I was pretty impressed and blown away with the end result! I haven't gone mad on the length but less is more in my opinion and more practical for my job. My first time trying it took me a while but I just took my time, once you have the desired length you then have to file shape and de bulk the nail which can be time consuming but also quite satisfying as you are the master of your own creation! After all that is done then you can either apply a top coat and leave it at that or style your nails how you want them. The nude pink is a lovely neutral colour and really compliments a french manicure it's also really easy to paint another colour over the top. Once the nails are finished they are really comfortable and natural looking... you forget you've added length! They also set really hard but flexible so I can see how the biab Will help your natural nails to grow. Do not skip the base coat... I did this the first time and all my nails lifted within a week. Second attempt I applied a base coat and so far so good. I'm hoping these will last a while now and the second time around I was quicker. My advice would also be to build each nail one by one and therefore a mini uv lamp easier for finger placement. Would definitely purchase again. And I'm confident it will help my nails grow over time not to mention protect them and prevent breakage. My nails usually grow to the length pictured but I'm having to completely regrow them as they have sadly become damaged so this product is the answer to all my problems.

It’s not bad!
I brought this instead of the mylee one. It’s good, it withheld swimming water, baths/showers. After a couple days it did peel slightly so I ended up peeling them all off (choice) but it peeled easy so makes sense why it lifted after a few days. First time using it so will practice my technique etc. I’m happy with it though and would recommend. Will probably be doing my nails sooner than every 3 weeks.

Excellent
After using Mylee, this builder gel is much easier to use. It’s thicker which helps avoid flooding the cuticle, when cured is harder than Mylee products meaning it’s less likely to peel, and is opaque. Self levelling is great too, I didn’t have to file these to refine the shape. I also extended my nails by almost 1cm and they’ve lasted really well. Would absolutely recommend and buy again.

Fiddly as its thicker than others, but so much stronger.
I really love this builder gel. Its really strong and although its thicker to apply, it is so much more durable than other makes that I have used in the past. Thickness does mean that it is a bit more fiddly to apply so you really have to pay attention.

I should have stuck to Mylee
I'm gonna start my review by saying i have other beetles gel nail products which i have been very happy with and my only other experience with builder gel is from using mylee so im not entirely clueless as ive been using theirs for over a yr without issue. What a disappointment this product has been. I can only hope its a defective batch but i certainly won't be testing any of their other builder gels at my expense to find out.I ordered the cover nude. Lovely the colour. First thing i noticed on my first application was the consistency... not as thick, more like regular gel polish but i thought okay that might not be a bad thing. Ha! More fool me.Next thing i noticed was how easy the cured gel lifted off my skin. Then how easily it lifted off my nails, and not even in chips or pieces, the whole thing off the nailbed. Lifting off like its a peel off nail polish. My instant reaction was to assume that maybe i had done something wrong on prepping. So i try again. And again. And again. When i tell you i was redoing individual nails every day or 2 for about a week and half to 2 weeks before i gave up, it was ridiculous. No matter how i filed, or what i used to rid the nail bed of any possible oils or dust, i had the same result. Not one of those nails stayed on for longer than 72hrs.I ended up using their gel colour directly on my nails (no builder) and would you believe they've lasted longer than the builder gel.The same nails i thought was an issue.I will be sending this straight back because fit for purpose is not in this bottle..

Good hard gel, in a lovely nude colour
I am a novice and after watching a few online tutorials, I was able to coat my nails enabling them to grow the longest I've ever had them, without extentions. Files well so I was able to in-fill them too. I have used two other brands previously and this is definitely the best so far.Watch lots of tutorials, use a dehydrator, basecoat and top coat

Worth Buying!! Easy and Odorless!
I tried this with white nail tips and the entire process was a fraction of the time compared to my usual acrylic powder and monomer. My family appreciated it was odorless. I normally stink up the house lol. Here's what I did and it turned out great.1) Push cuticles back. I didn't clip mine this time because I had an allergic reaction the last time I cut them, so left them.2) Use a buffer to remove the shine on the nails and any dead skin.3) Apply dehydrator to nails4) Use buffer on the nail tip to add texture for better adhesion.5) Glue on the nail extension.6) Apply a layer of base coat. It will be sticky so make sure you don't touch anything that may stick to it. (Avoid skin!)7) Put nail under UV lamp for 120 seconds8) Add builder gel. I like to brush a layer on, then follow up with a pea sized ball at a time to build up thickness just past and just dab the brush to move it around. You will only be able to do one finger at a time because it's a bit runny. Place it under the UV light for 30 seconds to hold it and move to the next nail until all are ready for the official 120 second bake. Use nail file to fix any messy edges. (Avoid skin!)9) Add top coat and put under UV light for 120 seconds. (Avoid skin!)10) Use nail file to shape any messy edges.11) Wash hands with soap and water and add cuticle oil.Make sure you avoid any of the gels leaking off the nail bed. This will help prevent skin irritation and premature lifting. So far the product seems pretty good. Hopefully it will last two weeks, but if it doesn't I still think it's worth buying just to save time and avoid the strong odor of monomor.Follow up:It's been a week since I used the builder gel and it has lasted without lifting surprisingly longer than the acrylic powders that I've been using, so I changed my review to 5 stars. Even though I was very careful I did have another reaction from the beetles product. I'm not sure what chemical agent is in their polishes and gels, but it always makes my skin itch and if I'm not careful I have broken out in blisters all around my cuticles and it runs up my fingers. The itching and pain when that happens is UNREAL and lasts for weeks! I recommend applying their products on one finger (I know that is tough when you are excited to do your nails) and wait a couple of days to see if you have any type of allergic reaction or skin sensitivity to any of their products before you go all in and do a full set of nails.
