I chose the 15 ton version simply because I have experienced too many tools that were just not capable of doing the required job. A heavier version is always money well spent. The only restriction is the 2" travel limit. With the deep pocket in the hub, I had to use a 2" length of 1/2 steel pipe to be able to get a set-up that would work.
