Was glad it was real wood
There was a very small dent with white wood showing under the mirrored. I did not have time to return it before gifting it so I took a furniture magic marker and hide the white wood.It is a gift for a preteen girl and thought it was the appropriate size and look

Overall happy with this purchase
Mom says the inside smells bad so I took a star off for that. There's also a mark on the top where the mirror is because it should have better protection against the edges causing damage. Very pretty color and a nice replacement for her old jewelry box.

I I love the shape of this medium size jewelry box, which does not take up much room on my bedroom, chest of drawers. I found that I could not fit all of my jewelry in it, so decided to put heavy fall and winter jewelry in a storage box and have this jewelry box for my summer jewelry.
