Lost caps for 5 gallon water jugs. These fit perfectly!

I keep extra water on hand And somehow managed to break two of the caps on my bottles. I was afraid that in order to use them I was going to have to replace the whole bottle. Very happy I found these. Just make sure you exactly the diameter of your bottle top. I did buy the wrong one first, but have two different size bottles and it will work as a spare for the other side. Good value. Well-made. Arrived quick and just as pictured.

I have been searching everywhere for these and of course my search went from store fronts to Amazon search where I found it within minutes. I’m glad I did some digging and was able to double check with my current cap to get the same one for my refillable bottle. Got 3 caps for a great price and in a timely manner. These are leak proof so I was able to replace an old cap as well as broken caps.

note that the description says 53mm that is 2.087 inches. it is a larger lid. I did my homework and the lid is perfect for my water jug. I recommend this product.

This is completely false advertising that they probably expect you not to return it because it’s such a small amount of money, but this does not fit on any of three different types of 5 gallon water jugs COMPLETE scam

I had two older American Maid 5 gallon water jugs that I stored one their sides, I bought a third but the new one leaked when placed on its side. I returned it and bought another thinking the bottle was faulty, but the replacement leaked as well. I gave up and just stored the new one vertically until one day I accidentally switched the lids on the bottles and discovered that it was the new lid and not the new bottle that was faulty.I ordered these lids to see if I could finally stop dealing with a leaky bottle and thankfully this lid worked great! I'm now able to lay all three water bottles on their side and have no leaks. I highly recommend these lids for anyone dealing with leaky 5 gallon jugs from AmericanMaid.
