Book is excellent but
Unfortunately Amazon didn’t pack it well. It simply came in an envelop with no protection inside so the side and corners of book is damaged.As of the content, really cute and creative! Love it.

Cute but not great
Cute book at a good price but prefer similar work done by Christopher Boffoli who is a professional photographer - set up, images etc better.

Great coffee table book
Loved the pictures. Great conversation piece. Nice to have on a coffee table for guests to thumb through. Beautiful pictures. Great artist.

Excellent Coffee Table Book
What a delightfully whimsical artist! The book is filled with great photos of his work. I look forward to seeing my mom open this at Christmas. She will love it!

A beautiful, inspirational book.I'm an increasingly-enthusiastic photographer, whom recently acquired a profound enjoyment for "miniature photography" using OO-gauge figures interacting with real-world objects.This is how I heard of Tatsuya Tanaka. The moment I learned that this genius had released a book of his works, I simply HAD to order it.Not at all disappointed! Quality prints of quality photographs, and endless inspiration for my new *ahem* addiction *ahem*

Ein entzückender Quell an kreativer Energie
Ich habe das Buch als Geburtstagsgeschenk gekauft und meine Erwartungen wurden mehr als übertroffen. Der Beschenkte war begeistert! Das Buch ist hochwertig gedruckt und eingebunden und besteht, abgesehen von einer Einleitung, ausschließlich aus über 100 seitenfüllenden Miniaturfotografien des Autors. Der Ideenreichtum des Fotografen Tatsuya Tanaka ist ebenso erstaunlich wie begeisternd und jede Buchseite ist ein Genuss, die Details sind so liebevoll gestaltet und wunderschön fotografisch festgehalten. Man beginnt tatsächlich unmittelbar nach der Lektüre, selbst diverse Alltagsgegenstände mit anderen Augen zu betrachten :)Der Autor veröffentlicht auf seiner Website bzw. seinem Instagram account (Miniature calendar) täglich eine neue Fotografie, somit ist es empfehlenswert, dort regelmäßig vorbeizuschauen. Der Bildband ist selbstverständlich dennoch empfehlenswert, zum schmökern, staunen und herzeigen.Als Notiz am Rande: in Small Wonders sind keine anzüglichen oder schlüpfrigen Miniaturen enthalten wie in anderen ähnlichen Projekten (sehr nett ist beispielsweise Naughty Little People Postcards ), somit kann man Small Wonders auch problemlos Kindern oder leicht zu schockierenden Verwandten zum durchblättern geben ;) Naughty Little People Postcards

Collezione Miniature Calendar
Bellissimo libro da tenere e guardare e riguardare ogni tanto. Sono già una fan del lavoro di Tanaka, quindi felicissima quando ho visto che oltre al Miniature Calendar (difficilmente riperibile stampato in Italia) esiste anche il libro.
