Love love this heat protectant. It’s my new go-to. I spray it into damp hair and usually let my hair air dry before straightening or curling. It leaves my hair feeling strong, healthy, and sleek without feeling oily, heavy, or greasy at all.

This keeps my hair shiny and soft and doesn’t weigh it down in high humidity. Works better than anything I’ve tried!

Does it make your hair waterproof ? No ! But my hair is more resistant to humidity. It’s been a week since I had my silk press and it’s still pretty good.The result it gives is definitely worth it, from the blow dry to the straightening process. My hair was silky and shiny. My 4c hair has never been so nice with me haha.Of course I followed a few steps that I deemed important : Clarifying shampoo to make sure my hair is stripped from all the heavy products I used before ; then hydrating shampoo ; a good conditioner and then the sleek product (reapplying when I had to straighten).The result is definitely a combination of all of this but the heat protection and the silky result is definitely from this one. I bought a second bottle.

It gets the job done in moderate humidity conditions.Greasy If Overused: One major issue I've encountered is that if I use too much of this spray, my hair quickly looks greasy. Finding the right balance can be a bit tricky, and it's easy to overdo it, especially if you have fine hair.Nice Scent: The product has a pleasant fragrance, which is a bonus. It leaves a subtle, pleasant scent on the hair.Limited Usage: Due to the greasiness issue, I find myself using this spray sparingly, which limits its effectiveness on extremely humid days. I need to be cautious not to apply too much.Overall, this anti-humidity shine coat spray serves its purpose as a budget-friendly alternative to a higher-end product.

I have a natural wave and my hair desperately needs a cut (planned for next month when I see my friend, also a stylist). I moved from a dry climate to coastal Florida and my hair is out of control. My hair will look great and then I check the mail at the end of the drive and it is a frizzy mess! I have tried several things that were highly recommended. Then I saw this product recommended by abbeyyung on TikTok, so I bought it on prime day. WOW she was not lying! I washed and conditioned my hair, put it in a microfiber wrap, then while damp, I divided it into 3 sections. I sprayed the product into my hands and worked it through the sections. Then I wiped the top of my hair as I've had a lot of stress and hair breakage so short hairs that get frizzy when I pull my hair back (like frizzy wings). I was out for the day. It has been incredibly humid lately - where I am taking 2-3 showers a day. I went to a farmer's market and sat on a patio with a drink while a storm moved in. Went from incredibly humid to very breezy to sprinkling before I got to my car. I drove down to another coastal place to hit the beach. I walked all over, then to the end of the pier and then sat on the beach. I stood in the water as it started to lightly rain and walked back to my car slowly while it sprinkled again. I checked my hair a few times and was like - WHAT? When I got home - I'm sweaty and had sand on me, so put on a shower cap and rinsed off the sand and sweat from my body. Took off the shower cap and here is my hair (pictures). You MUST be kidding me - this is insane! This looks like a day where I did all of those things with no rain in a dry climate! I need to find someone to give all my other products to because this is the only one I need. The other products would be great in states that are not this humid but I'm sticking with this product from here on out!

My wife bought this product because of all the advertising she saw online, but her frustration has been huge. We live in Florida, and the heat and humidity here are something else. This product promises to control frizz and keep hair under control for several days, but in reality, it only controlled the frizz for about 40 minutes, and then boom, it was back to normal. She did several tests, using a blow dryer and brush, a flat iron, and even a straightening brush, but the result was always disappointing. She hasn’t bought it again and is still searching for something truly effective to control this issue.

I loved this product; it has everything needed to give you a beautiful finish.
