GREAT UNIT FOR THE MONEY
I installed this stereo in a 2008 F-150 that has premium sound. You will need the proper adaptor plug, face plate, and antenna adaptor. I had to enlarge the Metra face plate so it would clear the rotating screen. Small imperfections from cutting are hidden by the rectangular trim ring included with the stereo. A steering wheel interface was not needed. It's a simple 2 wire hook up, and this unit has programable/customizable settings for it. If it doesn't work right, reverse the 2 wires. There is a mini USB port on the front, and a full size USB pig tail on the rear. The stereo includes a short adaptor cable from mini to standard USB if you want to use it. I chose to purchase a USB extension mounting kit from Best Buy ($20), plugged it in to the pig tail, and mounted the extension plug next to the cigarette lighter creating easy access for a flash drive or phone charger. Also included is a 30 pin media cable for earlier iPods/iPhones Pros: The quality is very good for the price. You can't go wrong. BT works excellent. Plays DVDs clearly. Pics from a flash drive will automatically slide show. Easy to use touch screen.Cons: Clock isn't dependable. Changes time, returns to normal at random. Can not assign names to BT, only displays phone #. Volume at lowest level is a little too high (only when listening to FM). No adjustable equalizer.

Decent Unit, Impossible Install
I purchased this head unit as a replacement for my 2012 Nissan Altima stock radio. This unit was a substantial improvement sound wise because it pushes more power to my speakers than the stock radio. Now as far as the radio itself it is pretty good. The Bluetooth is just slightly laggy when toggling between music streaming & phone calls & other Bluetooth like functions. For instance, when listening to music if you hold you phones home button to talk to Siri it takes about 5 additional seconds before you hear the ding. Not enough of a problem to disqualify this head unit, especially for the price.BUYER BEWARE! This radio is A LOT deeper than most other head units this size which can make for quite the tricky install. In fact, this head unit comes with absolutely no installation instructions at all. I searched the entire manufacturers website as well as all over YouTube & the rest of the Internet to no avail. Ordering a replacement dash kit online for my car only to realize this radio is far too deep for any dash kit. After nearly 8 hours of fighting with the dash kit I rigged it up to look decent but not seemless due to the depth of the unit.Screen quality isn't the best resolution. I don't watch nor do I plan to watch movies etc on the screen but I can't imagine anyone would want to die to the poor resolution. It's just not sharp & great.THE BOTTOM LINE: this is a decent head unit upgrade if you just want something better than stock. The installation is tricky(especially if you plan on doing it yourself) & the screen quality leaves a lot to be desired but for the price it's pretty good.

better than I thought/ hook up hints
I bought the boss bv9758bi and hooked it up in my 03 Altima w bose system. All worked great. A lil cheesy on the graphics but better than I expected after reading other reviews. As for steering wheel controls that it don't explain. There are 3 wires on radio labeled key 1. Key 2 and ground. I didn't touch ground and hooked the 2 key wires to the 3rd plug off the radio that control the trip/odometer settings. There is a blue wire that needs to just be hooked to the radio ground wire on other plug. Use a multimeter n ground the black probe n use red probe to test the other 3 wires. On batt 9v setting. When u got red metter probe touching one wire at a time hit volume up or down til u see meter change in readings. Then find other wire that changes to vol down. Those are ur key wire hook ups. I put key 1 to red wire. And in settings figure out how to set up steering wheel functions just press the wheel icon under settings. Then hit vol + and scroll til u see vol + on radio and so on n so on. Ground pink wire if u know what I mean! Dvd!!

Great buy!!!!
This is an excellent radio!!! Must buy if you are on a small budjet. Super easy to install looks great in my 2000 honda accord. Product is exactly as described. Very inpressed with the fast shipping too. If you have subs though and are running the amp through the rear RCA outputs then you must turn the bass down in the volume settings in the boss radio unit for it to be clear sounds. Plays videos great, music too. Just a little feed back when in Bluetooth but that is normal. Overall a great unit. I definitly recomend it to everyone.

Great system!
Great system!! A lil bit lag on the touch response. Video has great quality if you tweak the setting. Bluetooth is okay. Overall great system for the price.

Almost a 5 star
Wish it had a better equalizer, for sound control other than that it is a great item.

Poor choice, get the Pioneer instead
Poor interface, disappointed. Feels like navigating on a flip phone. Accidental touches on the screen result in changing the viewing angle, with no defined method to return to original angle. Ended up just forcing the screen back to home, now I have to wait for it to try to tilt the screen out and back every time I turn the key on.Pioneer model with similar features was not that much more, wish I had paid the extra money then and might end up replacing this one anyway out of frustration.
