It is made in Mayodan NC, I know Charlie and his kids and grew up there. You should have no concerns about these products.

Why there's alcohols in natural product which is toxic, too?

"Alcohols C10-14 Ethoxylated" and "Alcohol C12-C16, poly(1-6)" are vegetable based surfactants used in the production of Charlie's Soap. While the name looks long and confusing they are not harmful and when used as recommended will not kill rivers, streams, or the good bacteria at water treatment plants or in septic systems. It will not burn through or destroy stains and fabrics, rather it will gently lift dirt, stains, and odors from fabrics and surfaces. It will rinse away with water and holds onto the water for dear life while also holding onto the dirt, stains, and odors.

My kid has very sensitive skin! i wash her clothes with wash soda, borax, & eo's, but they don't come out very clean. does this soap work?

Yes, Charlie's Soap works well by removing the residue left behind on clothes! I would recommend pre-treating tough stains before washing. It is hypoallergenic, free of toxins, dyes, and perfumes. It's perfect for anyone with sensitive skin. Please feel free to contact us if you would like any additional information. Thanks!

Are the ingredients in this product and in the Booster safe for grey water systems? Will they hurt plants?

No the Laundry Powder and Booster were specifically formulated to be safe for grey water systems. The Detergent and Booster do not persist after introduction to the soil and will not make it's way into the root systems of your fruit trees or vegetables.
