HiMedia GRM1081-500G Sodium Fluoride, Extra Pure, 500 g

My teeth were very sensitive to cold water. For this reason, my dentist recommended DENTICARE 2% Fluoride Rinse. At $41 for two liters, the price was outrageous..So, I purchased HIMEDIA GRM1081 and made my own. Dissolved eight teaspoons into two quarts of water, my homemade solution was much cheaper. To be accurate, a pound of the HIMEDIA made an equivalent of $471.50 in DENTICARE 2% Fluoride Rinse. Minus the price of HIMEDIA, that is a $450 savings!.The only disadvantage was the taste. The sodium in the compound was a bit salty.

I bought a 500Gram fluoride, this thing is huge. but I'm not complaining! It's a fine powder. I think it'll last me around 25 mouthwash bottles, at 2% prescription strength. Formula: 2 Teaspoons for 16 Fluid ounces of mouthwash.

I ordered sodium fluoride and received LEAD NITRATE. The amazon sticker said fluoride. Had I not double checked I could have been poisoned.

Why does the main label say "potassium hydroxide" and the label slapped on over the plastic covering say "sodium fluoride"? I've never seen chemicals labeled this way. How am I supposed to know which chemical it is? This is a very dangerous practice!

I mixed 1 gram into a 2 liter bottle for my daily mouthwash. Should last me a lifetime.

Fantastic fast shipping, easily dissolved in my solution. Too early in the process to comment if it is working. If you are looking to enhance your sodium fluoride percentage, this product looks to be the best bang for the buck’s.

This product should be SOLD with the label NOT FOR HUMAN USE! This is a CHEMICAL to use in the laboratory not at home, as I see in other reviews. Please do not use this product at your home, this is a toxic chemical.
