Excellent quality all around. Audio quality is fantastic, and although I haven't used any speakers more expensive than these to compare with, it's almost certainly beyond where I'm able to differentiate.The satellites are solid and look real classy in person, the knobs on the right speaker are well made, speaker cables are long and very well-shielded (no interference from an especially noisy wireless modem a couple feet away), and the connectivity is great. I don't use the remote, but it's got all the functionality I could ever want from it if I need to.I got these for my PC to replace a truly ancient Klipsch 2.1 Pro Media set (that's still working great, FWIW), and it really is a huge improvement to use modern, full-featured speakers.The price has unfortunately risen considerably from when I bought them 2 years ago, but you're getting serious quality, at least. My 5 stars are taking into account the price I paid for them. Try to get them on sale if you're buying these.My only *minor* complaint about the hardware is that the subwoofer rests on rubber feet instead of a flat bottom, and they aren't removable. I know this is better for a wood floor, but setting it on carpet, the feet sink through and transmit a lot of thumping through the floor, so people below you will complain. It would be nice if the feet were removable for placing on carpet.

The primary purpose for me getting these speakers was to give some oomph (bass) that was lacking in my factory LG OLED55E8PUA speakers.I was already happy with my LG TV's level of detail and expansive + immersive (at least from 180 deg. in front and at ear level)sound from its six front-firing speakers. I couldn't find any standalone subwoofer speaker that could hook up to my LG viadigital optical audio cable. Basically, some PC sub + satellite speakers were the only offerings to hook up via optical cable. In terms oflooks vs. price, nothing came close to these Edifiers, and styling matters for me. The reviews on sound seemed promisingas well, and all I needed was some clean low-end, so I wasn't overly demanding.Setup was exceedingly easy. The 2 year warranty, included optical cable, and excellent fit and finish shows this company is striving to win you over. As forsound, it delivered my needs for bass with aplomb. For those out there looking for full range sound excellence, this is nohigh dollar, hi-fi speaker. In fact, comparing some streaming sound quality between this through Bluetooth and the $599 retail pricedDenon HEOS 7 through WiFi was no comparison in detail. While it trounced the Denon in bass, the Denon wins hands down overall,and I'm sure the available WiFi streaming on the Denon (not avail. on Edifier) helped. At least the Edifier Bluetooth connectionstability was rock solid, whereas the Denon was not. The streaming service was through Amazon Music, not a HiFi source like Tidal,but already the difference was big. Edifier claims aptX Bluetooth is a feature on their speakers.The highs and mids sound "timid" and reserved compared to the boomy bass, even with the 2-band EQ set at middling bass and topped out ontreble. This was the case for even streaming high quality audio through the optical cable.But these speakers get a big plus for not trying to deliver more than it can, meaning these was no clipping or ugly distortionor any of that stuff at high volumes.The remote needs line-of-sight aiming and is not particularly good at transmitting signals. Numerous have remarked about theround design not be conducive to easy manipulation w/o looking at it in brighter light, but I was fine with it.Despite all the quibbles, you cannot beat these for $299. For $500 and under, it's 4 out of 5 stars. For $299, it's a solid 5 stars.These speakers are an incredible choice if you have a small dwelling like me, value classic looks, and only need to supplement yourfactory TV's clear highs/mids with some more bass, especially if your factory TV/speakers deliver Atmos and candeliver sound through the internal speakers + optical out like my TV. Forget ugly soundbars for the same price.It's also a great system for any purpose if you're tight on your budget and want something that will hold its own in a party.CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM: Improve the remote transmission strength, boost the mids/highs gain relative to the bass, look into WiFi streaming.OVERALL: At $299, it's an unbeatable value if looks and big bass are part of your shopping needs.

Klipsch -> EdifierSold my Klipsch Pro Media 2.1 before moving out of state. I loved the sound clarity and clean responsive bass of the Klipsch. I sold them instead of moving them, for fear of damage. Originally I was going to purchase the same Klipsch set after getting settled, but started researching Edifier given their additional features. The Edifier S350DB are almost more of a “Home Theater Receiver” than just multimedia speakers.Sound:Compared to the Edifier S350DB, the Klipsch Pro Media are half the price. However the Edifier’s sound stage is much larger, and the stereophonics are more apparent. The Edifier Sub has a larger footprint, but the bass isn’t quite as “boomy” (not that the Klipsch sub was bad). Edifier can also produce a better “surround” experience using digital connectors instead of 2ch compressed analog audio (see below).Connections:Klipsch speakers connected to Sub/Amp via 18g standard speaker wire, making them a bit easier to place than the Edifiers. The speaker controls of the Klipsch use a type of “S-Video” connector, and Edifier uses a “VGA” type of connector. As others have complained, the Edifiers don’t have much length on the connector - Klipsch is probably 2x the length. I didn’t have any issues on a 5-foot desk.Remote:Only the Edifier has a remote, which is awesome for controlling audio on a TV or computer across the room. As others have mentioned, loss of the remote will prevent changing the Input... definitely a design flaw. Thankfully, I have never lost or damaged a remote, so I’m not afraid. I feel a universal remote or a fancy Logitech should be able to reproduce the IR signal though... so no fears there.Input:Edifier wins hands down - using Coax, Optical, Bluetooth, and RCA inputs gives you unlimited integration to any component and room to grow. Klipsch only has the 3.5mm audio input, meaning all your high-def audio gets compressed to 2-channel analog, and you can experience RF or EM Interference easier on analog connectors. Edifier is using an Optical cable on my current setup, which I feel improves the sound balance greatly - no more giant changes in volume on multi-channel content/movies/etc.Summary:In the end, I switched from Klipsch to Edifier for a larger soundstage, cleaner bass, and additional connection options. The short control cable (fixed with a 15-pin VGA extension cable) and short speaker cables were not an issue for my standard computer desk setup. I use them mostly for Music, Video Conferencing, and some Movies.If you find these on sale ($200 on Cyber Monday 2019) then you should pick them up. Compared to my Klipsch, I feel like I finally have “big boy” sound. Don’t get me wrong, I had the Klipsch ProMedia for 7 years and they were better than any Logitech/etc for $150. It was a sad day when I sold them, but I’ve been more than happy with my upgrade. It’s impossible to get a Receiver, L/R Speakers, and Sub for less than the cost of these Edifiers. Which is what makes them such a great value.

These speakers/sub are a great option if you are looking for room-filling sound with a wide frequency response that won't break the bank. The drivers/enclosures are not audiophile quality, but they're also not junk. Really good compromise between price and performance.Two issues keep this from being a five star review.First, the cabling is odd. The subwoofer contains the amp and main power switch, and both bookshelf speakers attach directly to the subwoofer. The right speaker (with the controls and remote sensor) uses a 10 foot long proprietary cable with a connector that looks an old-style MIDI plug. The left speaker uses a much shorter cable with a VGA-style connector. The short cable is not a big deal if you're placing the speakers on either side of a TV with the sub nearby, but in my case I needed more separation. I initially tried using a generic VGA extender, but the pin outs are not the same. I ended up having to buy an Amphenol CS-DSDHD15MF0-005 15-Pin HD15 Deluxe D-Sub extender cable. This worked great, but it's annoying that Edifier didn't spec a longer cable in the first place.Second, the system does not remember the last used volume setting. When you turn the system off or place it in standby mode, the volume resets to 50% of maximum when you turn the system back on. I contacted Edifier directly via web form to see if this was a feature or a defect. A customer service rep responded and confirmed that this is a feature. They get an A+ for responsiveness, since the customer service rep took the time to write up a detailed reply and answered several follow up questions. But they get a C- for user experience, because not remembering the volume from one use to the next is a bad design choice. I'm using these speakers with a digital piano, and I almost returned the speakers because I couldn't just "set it and forget it" with the volume, but everything else about them worked well for my needs.If you are reading previous reviews, lots of folks complained that the remote control was an awkward, UFO-shaped puck. That is no longer the case. My speaker set came with a very normal, easy to use rectangular remote.

I've been trying to find solid 2.1 computer speakers that could compete with my Altec Lansings from 20+ years ago. there was one that I tried that came close. the Steelseries Arena 7 actually sounds better than the old Lansings, but the volume was lacking. even after installing an audio boost program, the speakers just began to distort. can't have that in my exercise class. I tried the Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 THX Certified speakers. the passive satellite speaker was garbage. crackling, rattling, vibrated off the table. at one point I had to cradle it in my arms during a class to prevent it from making noise. smh. I think maybe the seller lied about it being new. but even still, the sub was sliding all over the floor. just not great quality, although i hear their high-end speakers are great.I tried the Logitech Z407. WEAK. sound was probably the lowest of all, and the wireless remote was designed so stupidly. I also tried the Pioneer DJ DM-50D 2.0 speakers. the audio quality was hollow, a bit muffled, and the lack of a stand-alone subwoofer really hurt the overall performance. I went through ALL of these over the past 3 weeks, and now, FINALLY, I've found what I was looking for.These Edifiers cost more, but they're worth it. no need for the audio boost software. Individual dials for treble and bass make a bigger difference than I had anticipated. I'm just all-around stoked on these speakers! music is central to my daily life, but I didn't want to have to fork out $1,000 for the kind of audio experience I got for $120 20 years ago. these speaker are a LEGIT upgrade and well worth the price.Music is far too important to my life and work to go cheap again. The subwoofer THUMPS, and the highs and mids are clean. Had these not worked out, I probably would have bought one of the giant JBL PartyBox speakers. SO GLAD these worked out!

I love these speakers. They are easy to setup, and the speaker wires were long enough for me, but may restrict those who want to set the satellites farther apart or away from the sub. The sound quality is great and sounds feel balanced all around the board, although I don't have a ton of experience with high end sound setups so my ears are relatively untrained. To me, it sounds like every instrument is separated and you can easily pinpoint any one instrument in a song. The subwoofer creates some super clean, and deep bass that you can feel in your chest. I have cranked the speakers to a loud enough volume to damage ears and noticed no distortion from any components, and no rattles or port farting from the sub itself. It comes with a nice, metal round remote that has quite a bit of weight to it. The receiver is on right satellite speaker and is pretty good at picking up commands from the remote. The speakers and sub look very nice and have a very sturdy, weighty feel to them. I have tried aux, optical, and Bluetooth and they all work flawlessly. If there is one thing I could change about these speakers, its the fact that the bass and treble dial is on the right side of the right satellite speaker which can be difficult to reach based on your setup. I would have much rather had the treble and bass controls on the remote itself.Overall, I really like these speakers and would highly recommend them to anyone in the market for speakers in this price range. I think the price of these speakers are more than justified by the performance, and build quality of these speakers. Good job Edifier.

After weeks of researching bookshelf speakers, thankfully I found this system that included a subwoofer, and went with this system.I received this bookshelf speaker/subwoofer combo a week ago to be primarily used as the speaker output for my new U-Turn Audio turntable and preamp. Cutting to the chase, the speakers arrived before my turntable did, so I tested them using the Bluetooth functionality, playing via my iPhone and Spotify.I played some Chrome Sparks first...I was blown away. These are totally party worthy, lounge/den worthy, main entertainment system worthy for your TV, etc. The crispness coming from the speakers is phenomenal, and the woofer's bass is spectacular and deep. I have to say, I thought I wouldn't care about having Bluetooth, since I've got a separate sound bar/subwoofer for my TV that I could use for playing music through the Spotify app...but it's been so great having THESE be for all things music in our home.A few hours later, my turntable arrived, and I tested it out with Bob Moses's "Days Gone By" record on vinyl. (I was keen to see how electronic music on a vinyl record would sound)...my wife and I stood in awe of how much sound was coming through. Big and CLEAR sound, with body and wall-shaking bass. I'm telling you, even our Etta James, Al Green, and Elvis records have deep bass coming through these speakers.Most times, it doesn't even sound like there are two bookshelf speakers, but more so just a rectangular wall of sound coming right at you, and I mean that in a good way.And they look great, of course.The only criticism I have, is that using the AUX input, as I do for my turntable, puts out a slight electronic hum at higher volumes when there's no music playing.I'm thinking this can be eliminated with some higher quality RCA cables, which I plan on getting.But once the music starts, good god do these sound amazing.Other inputs, such as Bluetooth, don't experience the electronic hum.Alright, so now that I've written a novel about these speakers, I think you can get an idea of my enthusiasm for these things—I'm working from home today, playing records all day, and loving every minute of it.Buy these.They're the real deal.

OK first of all I knew it would not be fully wireless. But based on the product name & literally every marketed picture & video of the thing, I thought it could be charged up to be wireless for some time before needing to be plugged in again. I specifically wanted a set up that allows me to move the speakers around to different locations, which is advertised. I did not know that both the speakers would need to be plugged into the main unit & the main unit plugged into the wall at all times. The cable to the left speaker is also only 4’ long & they don’t make an extension for it. The only option is to have cables draping all over the place with the left speaker within 4’ of the main unit. So obviously they didnt actually have the speakers connected in any of their advertisements because obviously they knew it wouldn’t look nearly as nice. I wanted these things mirrored around a fireplace bump out in the center of my room with the subwoofer able to move to one side or the other. Turns out they will all have to be placed together on one side & will be very difficult to move around from there, having to unplug & reroute 3 different cables. They sound nice with all the cables they do not look good & are difficult to move around. When someone is looking for a portable, wireless speaker set up, they are looking for exactly what was advertised here and this is exactly NOT what they want. 1 star for misleading, if not false, advertisement from a reputable brand. Just advertise what you have?!?

Lange überlegt ob ich es bestellen sollte oder nicht, 320€ sind eine Menge Geld.Vor allem die vielen negativen Rezensionen hielten mich davon ab.Schlechtes Kabelmanagement und Pfeifftöne, wenn kein Input anliegt oder Musik gespielt wird, waren nicht das worauf ich ich einlassen wollte.Zum Glück habe ich mich durch einige positive Nachrichten und Recherchen doch entschlossen dieses System zu kaufen.Ich bin mit dem System bisher sehr zufrieden (ergänze bei Bedarf diese Rezension), das Kabel des rechten Speakers lies sich leicht mit einer VGA Verlängerung (1 zu1 Belegung und Adapter) auf das gewünschte Maß verlängern.Der Klang ist m.M. nach sehr gut, höre meist ohne Höhen und Bass zu verstärken > also Leistung reicht ...Hier darf man das Preisgefüge nicht außer acht lassen und Äpfel mit Birnen vergleichen, dann ergibt sich hier eine sehr gute Bewertung.Der bisher einzige Wermutstropfen ist die FB welche eine Sichtverbindung zum rechten Speaker benötigt um zu funktionieren.Ansonsten für mich eine sehr gelungene 2-1 AnlageWer mehr möchte sollte zu einer 5.1 oder gar 7.1 greifen, diese habe ich im Wohnzimmer am großen Screen und nicht auf dem Desktop.Ich hoffe einigen geholfen zu haben, die genauso unschlüssig waren wie ich.nette grüßeerhard

No soy ningún audiófilo, pero sé reconocer un buen equipo de audio. El sonido que reproducen se siente de calidad, los medios y las voces se escuchan perfectamente, el bajo las complementa perfectamente, logrando un sonido bastante completo, muy comparable a lo que escuchas con Bose. Se percibe claramente la voz separada del resto de la música. Para películas o series va perfecto porque el bajo cumple bastante bien, es de 8" y llena bastante bien un cuarto mediano, se siente preciso y bien medido para no opacar los medios o voces.Obviamente tendrás que ecualizar un poco para absorber la acústica de tu cuarto y lograr la mejor calidad de sonido.Los materiales y el ensamble son exquisitos, dan un aspecto bastante premium y robusto.En general es un gran equipo y para ser honesto obtienes más de lo que pagas, comparándolo con equipos de marcas más premium.

Acheter pour remplacer un ensemble logitech en 7.1. Le son est plus fidèle et immersive. Suffisamment puissant pour une utilisation pc.Très bien pour la musique, les films et le jeux.Quand on reçoit l'ensemble ont voit qu'on est sur un produits de qualité. Les matériaux plastiques et bois sont agréables, jolie et de qualité. Les câbles sont épais, Suffisamment long pour mon installation. Rapport qualité/prix très bien.

Ottimo prodotto, audio di alta qualità e bluetooth che risponde alla grande. Io l ho provato nella stessa stanza ed è perfetto, dovrei provare ad allontanarmi dall' impianto per capirne la portata.

qualidade absurda, da pra ouvir por horas sem incomodar os ouvidos. Estou usando no PC e estou satisfeito.
