Camp Time in California (Magic Tree House)

My grandson loves her books and this one was not a disappointment. I find that he learns more about the world around him in an adventuresome way. This book helps a young person learn about Yosemite, but also Teddy Roosevelt.

There is not one book written by Duffy Brown which I have not loved !!! And passed on to my older daughter !Her books are a delight to read!:)Be sure read each series in order :)ENJOY!!!

Wonderful book! We read it to our boys (4 and 7) on a vacation to California and we all truly enjoyed it.

Great kids books

Another really enjoyable book from this series. I never read them as a kid and have been enjoying the audiobooks as an adult. Looking forward to sharing these fun books with my children when they are a little older. Well written historical fiction with a fun twist for kids.

Two children just happened to be transformed from their home by a magical treehouse to Yosemite where unbeknownst by them they join the President of the United States and John Muir to explore and plan for future generations to enjoy this famous National Park! Beautiful illustrations!

We purchased this in Audible to listen to as soon as it was released. All of the magic treehouse books are wonderful, and this was no exception. It has sparked my daughter’s interest in so many different topics, and we like to buy the Fact Tracker books, as well.

The usual Magic Treehouse story; engaging and full of information. I love Teddy Roosevelt and John Muir. I love that this introduces kids to 2 of the most influential Americans in the history of the American environmental movement. They were visionaries.

Quite impressive in inculcating the need to preserve forest for keeping of ecological balance.
