Bought two for my dodge Dakota. They are very well built and stay in place. Much better then expected and I would buy them again in a heartbeat. I used a bit smaller in diameter flag poles and it still held them in place. I drove up to 60mph and they held strong.

Edited: I had to drop it two stars. You should not use these if you are going on a highway. The bolts do not secure them right enough to be able to use at speeds higher than 60. I ended up losing one. Since the bolt can’t actually go all the way up (they give you a rubber tip to act as a type of buffer. Problem is you can’t really get the good grip you need to secure it completely) mine rattled off, and the wind took the rest. Very disappointing, and it kills the excitement of the day. Even with the ratchets reinforcing the poles, they will rattle like crazy. I was hoping this would be better than drilling holes in my truck, but I may end up having to do that.Works great, looks awesome. I made my own poles and I did end up reinforcing the bottom of the poles with just a simple ratchet. I haven’t gone on the highway yet but I did get up to about 70 and everything was good. No holes needed drilling is the best part.

Didn’t mount to the bed of my truck too well. Waste of money.

These are easy to install and functionable but not the most secure, no matter how tight I get them they still come loose tip over. I would not use going much faster than 35mph

Very cheap pole, it bent with in an hour.
