Do not buy if you need room in the bed of your General.
When I set it into my Polaris General XP1000 there was not any room for my cooler or anything else. Need to think about that.

Excellent box. Best I could find. OEM Polaris part.
Perfect fit. OEM Polaris part. Easy install, only takes about 3-4 minutes. Holds up nice on the rides so far. Excellent look and utility if you add the OEM tube frame bed extender and add some bed space back that the box takes up.

Good product!
Only complaint is had to add washers to closure for main box. Tabs provided are smaller and rubber strap pops off. Leaves room in box for small cooler and allows use of two tie downs furthest from cab.

Good addition to the Polaris General
Box is of high quality, fits perfectly and holds a lot of stuff dust free. However, after using this for several months, I have noticed that items carried in the box get very warm from the heat generated by the engine. I put some foam insulation in the bottom which seems to help some. I am thinking of putting heat shield material on the outside of the box between the bed and the box.

Not water tight
It was water tight the first month after that it warped sitting in my garage so I looked in side and everything was molded
