Stirring rod detached immediately even though the add says it’s difficult to detach. Still can’t find it.Update: I found the rod and the mug works very well. The vendor reached out to me almost immediately to resolve the situation.

So, this is a great gift for someone who doesn't like to drink anything with marshmallows or teabags. The biggest issue I have is the bead or bean in the bottom that promotes the stirring comes loose if it hits anything like a marshmallow that you find in hot cocoa. It becomes a choking hazard because of this. There needs to be a cautionary statements that says it "could" happen. As I had to put a metal spoon in the cup to rescue the "bean" or mixer. It's a good idea but it needs a lot more testing and trying some other way to stir the cup.

I use the cup for prepping powder based drinks and soup packets to ensure the lumps are gone. It does a fantastic job.

I've had for a couple of hours I was immediately turned off. I got my drink all mixed ready to watch so TV and sip my favorite drink. I had to remove the whole lid every time I wanted a sip. I need to return for another model with a sip hole.

Does exactly what you would expect. Mixes drinks fairly well. Have tried it with hot chocolate and protein. Obviously protein didn't work the best, but it mixed the hot chocolate great.
