A book for keeps !

Ruskin Bond's A Little Book of Happiness has short verses and quotes by some of the most famous writers in the world. There are beautiful quotes by the author himself, all of which are meant to decipher the meaning of happiness and help the readers to find their own ways to be happy in their life. It is a complicated world and we tend to take a lot of stress and run after superficial things while searching for happiness. Ruskin Bond has attempted to make the readers know that happiness could be found in simple situations and the things around us can make us extremely happy, only if we pay attention to them.🍀The quotes and verses have various themes related to nature, people, work, life and more. I would suggest you to read a few pages of this book everyday, preferably in the morning to start your day on a positive note and develop an optimistic outlook towards things.

I have purchased this book long back and intially I thought it was just a book full of quotes but now reading it deeply,I am very touched and feels each quote has a years of wisdom in it.The book has place for notes where one can jot her feelings after reading the quotes.Though I found that the price is at higher side but its a book to be cherised for a long time.

The book was in good condition and looked really pretty, but I was not that impressed by the content. It was a repetition of everything the author had already said or quoted, and most of those quotes were on Goodreads or other websites, so found it a bit unflattering. But if you haven't read Ruskin Bond before, you may sometimes like it. One other thing I found was that the print was a dark teal, though large. It's not half as comfortable as black to read. In all, 5 stars for the presentation and binding, 2 stars for the content.

Splendid and simply sayings of Ruskin Bond along side other great writers. It is Bond's experience over more than 6 decades as a writer as well a simple contended man. Very beautiful binding and prompt delivery.

Ruskin Bond written books are always a treat ! I relish reading his books during my leisure. Ruskin Bond's offerings are to me what a tasty food is to a foodie. !!
