Can anyone tell me about your experience using this melter with beeswax? Any info on your experience is much appreciated.

How heavy is the pot?

The pot is only a couple pounds (or approx. 1 Kg) when empty. I tend to load in around 6 pounds of wax at a time, but it can clearly hold about 50% more.

Can you remelt unused wax in the pot?

yes you can, I never add color dye or fragrance in mine and I always have a little bit of wax left in the bottom and I have even had it half full and remelted just fine
