I use this to boil water for coffee or tea. This pours without spilling. It is easy to clean.But . . .I have a gas stove. When I use this pot, part of the handle gets hot. I am referring to the dark part of the handle -- the part that is nearest the metal gets hot.The top rim is not sharp, but the metal on the rim is rough and coarse. If it was better quality, the metal would be smooth and polished. This is made in China.

I like this style of pot for making ghee and hot chocolate as the heat is at a narrow bottom. It’s easier to keep the temperature uniform throughout the mixture.

I have been looking for a long time for a pot to heat liquids in, especially my coffee and tea that's gotten cold. All the pots I tried before this do not pour cleanly. So many messes sigh. This pot, which is a larger capacity than I was expecting and a fantastic size, heats on my stove top beautifully and pours like a dream. I am SO pleased, and I use it pretty much every afternoon now. 4 stars not 5 as it's a bit challenging to clean because of its shape (narrower at the top than the bottom)

For the price can't complain, was looking for an induction coffee pot and it works great. Good quality with a sturdy handle.

I saw reviews saying it's induction friendly which prompt me to make the purchase, however this is far from the truth. Don't waste your time if you have induction hob, apart from that it would of been perfect. Shame I'll have to return.
