Working Kid: A Memoir of a Child Actor of the 1950s and 1960s Paperback – 21 July 2021

Mimi Gibson is a distant relative of mine. It was enlightening to hear of her experiences as a working child actress and the ups and downs of working in that industry in the 50's and 60's. She had mostly positive experiences and worked with many famous actors and actresses, Cary Grant, John Wayne, Sophia Lorene, to name a few.She has been involved in an advocacy organization for child performers, protecting their incomes.

Wonderful read which gave insight and little known facts regarding children who work in the entertainment industry. Highly recommend.
