LFOTPPScreen Protector for 2013-2024 Ram 1500 2500 3500 8.4 Inch Grand Cherokee(14-19),Chrysler Pacifica(16-20),Chrysler 300(11-23),200(11-17)

This 8.4 inch tempered glass protector for the in-dash Information Center/Nav screen was not difficult to install. Follow the directions and it goes on easily. Getting all the dust and fingerprints off of the screen before installing the glass protector is critical and takes time. It is time well spent. I wore a pair of Nitrile gloves (Harbor Freight) to keep the oil and dust from my fingers off of the screen while cleaning and installing. LFOTPP's install kit includes: a small suction cup, a dusting cloth, alcohol wipe and 2 sticky dust "catchers".Before using their kit I cleaned the Nav screen with a clean lint free cloth and 70% rubbing alcohol to remove fingerprints and dust. The corners of the screen seem to trap dust particles so I spent time cleaning there. I noticed that the Nav screen actually sits back from the bezel maybe 1/16" so dust seems to hide in this crevasse. I found that having a strong light shining on the screen helped me to see any dust particles and being able to move the light around helps as well. Finally, use the sticky dust catchers to pick particles off. I made the mistake of dragging the sticky paper across a section of the screen only to find that the sticky substance had smeared the screen - back to step one - clean the screen with alcohol.The small suction cup attaches to a corner area of the protector to give you something to help maneuver it into place. The back of the protector has a very thin adhesive layer and protective plastic that you remove prior to installing. This protective screen is not a 100% fit to the 8.4" Nav screen. There is <1/8" space around the protective screen and the Nav screen. I assume this was done to give you a bit of "wiggle" room when installing.Once you have the Nav screen absolutely clean - no fingerprints or dust - even in the corners, you can mount the screen protector. Peel the backing off of the back of the protector screen and holding it by the edges and suction cup, maneuver it into place. Avoid touching the back of the screen - adhesive side. When you have it where you want it apply pressure from the edge and work toward the suction cup.Others have said that the screen cracked or broke when installing and some mentioned trying to lift the screen back off to reposition it or pick off a dust particle. I was lucky and did not have these problems. I'd recommend using latex or Nitrile gloves, having a strong light source, using your own alcohol wipes or alcohol & lint free cloth, and taking whatever time is necessary to clean your Nav screen. I did not time the process but think i spent probably 20 min on the cleaning and install.How it works and what I think of the screen protector after using it for a while will bring me back to add to this review.

Follow the directions completely and you will have zero issues with installation. Use the items provided: Alcohol wipe, Dry sheet, apply suction cup to the center of the screen protector and then remove the backing. Our Ram dash trim is raised and the screen protector can not be wedged to one side and pressed out across the screen. I realize most screen protectors to reduce air bubbles require you to start on one side and lay the protector down removing air bubbles as you go. I followed the directions and holding the suction cup stuck the protector on dead center. There were several bubbles on the screen but the protector was center perfectly. Take the dry sheet in your finger and simply slide the bubbles towards the edge of the dash trim as needed and all bubbles will easily work themselves from under the protector. Today is overcast but there is clearly glare protection and the colors are still bright and vivid. Also, the touchscreen works flawlessly.

I’m glad they make these protective glass products. You really need them on all touch screens. They keep the electronic displays in good condition longer. It’s just a fraction of an inch smaller than the actual screen so it fits easily on the display. I recommend you leave the original plastic covering in place until you’re going to install the protective glass. This keeps the display cleaner and makes the installation of the protective glass goes easier.

This piece of tempered glass is almost perfect. The overall size is a tad to big. When installing, the corners of the glass were getting caught on the screen bezel. Luckily, I was able to slide one side in under the bezel, then slide the glass over, and under the other side of the bezel. Manufacture needs to revisit sizing specs or maybe it was a QC thing. OR put a radius on the corners of the glass.Touch screen performance is still that of OEM without a protector on the screen. I recommend, just use caution when installing the piece of glass.

This item is made too large to exactly fit the screen. The bezel of the screen prevents you from being able to accurately fit the protector over it correctly. Basically the design of this protector should have more rounded edges to be an exact fit for my vehicle. (Ram 1500) So all in all it was a waste of money

As described, went on easily and I'd recommend.

Just as easy as installing one on your phone

I drive a 2018 Jeep Compass. The size of the protector ALMOST fits. Like many others, I wish the kit had TWO suction cups and not just one. As a result, I think I didn't slide it in perfectly, I ended up forcing the last corner in, and cracked the screen. Part of why I ordered this was someone said it helped with the glare of the sun. It does not. Whomever owned the car before me had worn parts of the screen down, so it DOES protect from further damage. There were already two small bubbles (one top left, and one top middle) under the original screen. I don't know if it can be attributed to the screen protector, but the bubbles have gotten bigger. It doesn't affect my ability to see the screen, but eventually I am sure it will. I use an electronics wipe to wipe off fingerprints (it definitely shows fingerprints) but at least they wipe off. Not sure if I would purchase again, but it gets the job done for the most part.

This screen protector works great on my 2024 Ram 3500 Big Horn infotainment screen. Installation was easy enough, I did it in a rush and it turned out almost perfect, the installation stickers came loose as I was applying the protector to the screen which allowed it to fall down behind the lower bezel just a hair but it is fine in my opinion as now there is a slight gap at the top which you do not touch very often atleast this way the main areas I touch are all fully covered.I mainly wanted this to make it easier to wipe finger smudges off the screen as the plastic used for the factory screen tends to hold onto finger prints, with this now a simple wipe with a cleaning cloth and it's clean and shiny.

Bought for my 2022 ram 2500 big horn with the 8.4 screen. It fits not perfectly leaves some gap at the bottom, but it'll work. Touch screen still works well/ the same as before it was covered so no complaints there. Easy to install and would recommend.

Wish I had of bought this before I got a hairline crack in my screen, but this will at least give the screen strength and protect if from cracking further. It fits great, was easy to put on and stick well.

This screen protector fit perfectly. Was very easy to install, if I'm honest I did it hastily and still came up with near perfect results. The protector is a fairly thick plastic, not a film like I was expecting. A pleasant surprise! All in all, great value for the quality. Not to mention, you can't put a price on keeping your vehicle display scratch-free!
