Exactly what I needed to work with my MX8 pool vacuum, replacing those hose sections costs so much a big rip off. I bought this adapter to use my heavy duty vacuum one piece hose from my hand vacuum and it works fantastic.

For my pool, this allowed me to use a much longer hose that can take a lot more abuse then the segmented hoses. This allows my Zodiak pool cleaner to work without replacing hoses every year.

With this device you are free to use standard pool segmented hoses. Standard hoses are significantly less expensive. Very happy with this purchase

Appears to be quality components, but the glue is thin and subpar. One side failed within the first week of use. However, a six dollar tube of marine goop from wally world will fix you up if you don't mind repairing something that's brand-new

Had it JUST over the return window with Amazon and the hose part came unglued from the adapter that attaches to the vacuum. Not returnable now. Been using only a month. They used really crappy silicone sealant (NOT glue) to put it into the adapter. This thing really should be heat fused.

Could use regular hoses that I had on hand without buying additional hoses for MX 6 pool cleaner.
