Did the job with good clamping power
Used these with multiple strips of LED lights and the only caveat is that they do not work with silicone-coated strips (which is expected). Had no issue opening or closing, none broke during installation, worked as expected. Good value overall, recommended.

Finally something that works
I’ve purchased a numerous aftermarket solutions for reconnecting Philips hue strips and never found anything that works. These connectors are a lifesaver.

These are essential to running multiple strings of LEDs from a single receiver
These adapters make it possible to run wires from one string of LEDs to another. If you have a spool of 4-wire cable, you can do things like add additional light strips across a hallway or above cupboards without the need for an additional receiver. Most receivers can support 25-50 feet of RGB LED tape, so if you have multiple areas that need light and no not want lights in between those areas, this kit plus a spool of 4-wire cabling can get the job done. There is no soldering required and you don't even need to strip wires. Clamp the ends of the adapters down to 'bite' into the wires on one side and to the contacts of the LED strips on the other. They lock closed and are very sturdy. I cannot comment on water resistance, but I would not use these outdoors without some sort of shrink tubing.

Horrible
Even when using 22ga wire as required, these DO NOT clamp onto the wire at all and it easily comes out of the connector. you are better off getting LED connectors that are pre-wired which you can solder connecting wires onto.

Worked Great!
When I first tried these, I couldn't get the connections to be stable and the connected light strips wouldn't stay on with any movement of the strand. Fortunately I had bought extra tape to practice with before my final project. Before puncturing anymore holes in the copper pads, I tested the connectors by just tapping the copper to the pins first. Then I realized that I was getting a much better connection if I attached the light strips face down in the connectors and voila! Problem solved.Going forward, I made sure to test the connection after each new strip added, by plugging it all in. That way I knew which connection was having issues if need be. The whole thing worked flawlessly on the first try!

Bad connections
Connectors are easy to use. I didn't have to splice wires and clipped onto strip easy. Once wire side is closed there's no reopening without damage. The connector pierces wires and the light strip. I found poor connections on both sides. Unfortunately it was after testing and gluing that it decided to not work. Need something more reliable.

Easier than soldering for some applications
I have been using these on LED strip lights and in some areas they are much easier to use than soldering the wires to the strip light. They are a bit bulky in small areas so sometimes I have to resort to solder, but for most applications they work great.

Teeth don't cut through wire casing.
The teeth aren't strong enough to pierce the casing around the wires, so they don't make contact. Using pliers to add a bit of pressure does nothing, as the amount of pressure needed to pierce the wires only cracks the housing.
