Can you vacuum fine sand with this?

You can’t vacuum anything with this. When I bought this the listing said “it actually works!”, with “excellent suction”. When I asked to return it because it didn’t work, the seller protested saying it was a toy. When I pointed out these specific words in the listing, he accepted the return but with a restock fee of 30%.

Will this pick up dust from soft pastels? That's all I need it for.

It is possible but please keep in mind this is intended as more of a novelty item.

What are the dimensions? I wasn't this for my mini collection but I'm wondering if this is small enough?
