Great for Athletes
I bought this tape, Spartan tape, and KT tape.Compared to Spartan tape, Rocktape is about the same. Its sticks for just as long!Compared to KT tape (the regular pre-cut ones), Spartan stayed on for much longer. I noticed that the KT tape would start to fall off within 24 hour.I have also showered with both the Rocktape and the Spartan tape and they both stay on pretty well when they get wet!Use:For reference, I use this tape for figure skating. I have had stress fractures in my shins in the past, and still have terrible pain due to muscle imbalances. This tape helps relieve my pain! I wear it on and off the ice. I also make sure to stretch out the muscles while on the ice and at home.Tips:Make sure that you DO NOT put this tape on hair. Make sure to SHAVE the area before placing it on your skin. Also, make sure you DO NOT have oils or lotion on your skin because the tape will not stick as long. I use different techniques to tape my leg. I do not really follow the booklet on how to tape your shins. I found that it was not as effective as the other ways i have found online.I hope this helps!

Recommended by my husband’s PT. Worth the money.

Not the best.
I’m in a swim class on Mondays and Wednesdays. I sprained my ankle one day and I needed a bandage that would provide support, so I could continue swimming, and stay on in the water even when I put my fins on and off.I tried ROCK TAPE first at the steep price of $18. It worked ok; provided support for my ankle but it came off easily in the water. Because it cost so much and was basically a one-time use, not the 3 day long use it promised or water resistance it promised, I decided to try another brand.BEAST TAPE is by far much better. It stayed on the whole workout even when putting fins on and off. This is the next day of use and its still on well. I haven’t tried it for a second workout in a row to see if it will last 3 days, but at $10 a roll its a much better buy. It also has more of a stretch, so you’ll probably end up using shorter strips.TIPS:First, for both tapes I noticed its better to put them on at least a couple hours before your workout so the adhesive has time adhere more to your skin.Second, with the ROCK TAPE when the anchor ends weren’t touching my skin (overlapped to another part of tape instead) that meant the whole thing started to unravel and eventually trail behind while swimming not providing support, but with the BEAST TAPE I just snipped off that part and the rest stayed on! Either way, make sure the ends end up making contact with your skin.

Do not stay on skin
Not sticky and do not last when sweating.

Best adhesion of any kinesthiology tape I’ve tried
This stuff is amazing! Immediately took away my knee pain after I sustained a tibial plateau fracture. Lasted 8 days!!!! So this stuff is very economical. Only thing is it’s thick and doesn’t breathe well. When I got it wet it was wet for hours which is a little uncomfortable/annoying. Overall it worked so well that I overlook those minor issues. I’ve tried 3-4 different kinesthiology tapes and this one sticks the best. It doesn’t have as much stretch as KT tape though so be aware that you have to apply it a little differently. I didn’t like how the knee application felt that this brand recommends (it hurt my patella) so I ended up using the KT tape version but with a little less stretch.
