Charger works with my old style 18V batteries. I like the LED indicators. It showed that one of my batteries is faulty. Does the job. Ships from China, be patient. Mine actually arrived a little earlier than it said. It's compact. My old charger was a double bay that took up a lot of space on the bench. I like that this one is small
