I did no research other than a video of a girl saying she had fun using a set like this. I love the colors so much, and it's pretty easy to do. I'm still learning how to get a good shape that isn't too thick or thin. The only negative thing is I got a lot of wet gel on my skin and I had a bubbly allergic reaction that quickly went away. This is very common, so please be careful to not get any wet gel onto your skin!

I bought this kit because I was tired of paying so much as nail salons. I am by no means a nail tech. I watched many videos on how to properly apply the polygel. There is definitely a learning curve! Overall for my first time I thought I did pretty well. I have not used all the colors yet but I will say the colors are not as vibrant as pictured. The nail dryer works much better than I expected. I was very please with it. The kits come with everything you need. I highly recommend getting the electric nail manicuring tool. You will need it to file down edges and such.

Wanted to give this a shot instead of dip or acrylic- think I’ll be going back to acrylic for a few reasons.Mainly the gel only lasts for a couple days if you’re lucky. Either they chip or break. I’ve had this for 2 weeks now and had to repair or replace if not all of them a couple at a time. The light with the kit is very weak and takes forever to cure anything. I used a better one and still have an issue of it curing. The colors aren’t as shown. They’re very light unless you use a lot of gel which I don’t since I use my hands a lot at work.If you’re looking for something to only a couple days then go for it but if you looking for longer wear, this isn’t is.

I ordered this to start doing my own nails and i started being the family nail tech… lol i love this product it brings a lot of stuff and is very beginner friendly. Would definitely order again
