Q: what is the diameter when open?

It broke almost right away so we tossed it. I have no idea the diameter but just that is was the right size for my 10-year old

Q: I noticed there is no star rating. Is anyone happy with the umbrella? And does it really change to color when wet? Thanks

My fiance got it from me as a gift and she loves it. I just asked her your questions and she said it really does change color, not as dramatically as you would think but there's a big difference between wet and dry. Oh and she's very happy with it.

Q: Is it auto open auto close?

You press a button to open, but you need to manually close it.

Q: How is the quality on this?

The first production run the factory used made a poor quality umbrella. A new factory is being used now and the ones currently for sale by Gaming Outfitters is much better quality then any vendor with the first production run. There should be no issues now with quality!
