So, this makes your pool into a great light show. Perfect color and clarity. The remote is kind of weak, and you do have to use the waterproof bag to change the light color. But you can also switch it on and off to do the same. Awkward but a usable solution.

I loved the light..... at first. It was bright and the remote, surprisingly, worked at least 30 feet away although the remote battery does die very quickly. Unfortunately one day after about 2 months, the light just stopped working. After taking the light back out of the pool and examining it, I found that 2 of the transistors/mosfets had burned up. There was no water or moisture damage, the circuit is just underpowered by design. There is no return policy on these so I am out the $70 and now have no pool light. So if you want to buy it, just realize, you wont get much mileage out of it even though they work good at first.

Need to be pretty close to the bulb for the remote to work and you have to point it just the right way. Otherwise, great product.

The media could not be loaded.  The range is very good compared to the older models I have used before. I power tested the current at is actually 45watts in white mode which is good. Some claim 45watts but only use 30 which is less bright. This bulb will fill your entire hot tub, or two of these will fill a pool with light. You don't have to use the remote that it comes with, you can also cycle your pool switch on and off to change color and modes.

Light works well.Fits good.Have to be in just the right spot, close to light for remote to work.

I replaced my 12 year old LED pool light with this. The remote was a nice addition. I paid my pool guy to install it professionally. It worked ok for 2 months, the remote never worked quite right and I couldn't get the color combinations I wanted, The remote stopped working after a month. Then it got stuck on green and a dim red. Starting last week, it stayed on dim red. The installation is more expensive than the bulb. What do you propose to make it right?

Like all lights of this type that come with a remote, don’t expect much from the remote. I had hope as this bulb came with a little antenna attached, but that did not seem to make a difference. I did try putting the remote in the included waterproof pouch and holding it up to the light but it is hit or miss. Besides, what is the point of having a remote if you have to hold your hand underwater? LOL!. Other than that, the colors are nice and the lamp looks good.
