I made a choice between this blocker and another. Though this one did not have as high a rating as the other, mostly because it seems people had problems installing it. I decided I had enough experience with things like this and fortunately I did as it took one try and has been working exactly as I'd hoped. It is plugged into my Spectrum (tm) Cable modem and my cordless land line base. If upstairs I can hit the big red button, if down, all I do is hit #2 and it's bye bye nuisance callers! I love that it works so well and find no fault with it at all. Very pleased and it arrived on time if not before. Thank you for finally giving me power over who gets to call and who doesn't! The vast numbers of spoofed or junk calls was just getting out of hand! This has taken care of it quite well to date! I LOVE that I have some peace and quiet now and not a gazillion junk calls every day.

on thanksgiving day it decided to block ALL my incoming calls not good. i have 100 year mother that depends on us

I bought this to use with my Verizon FIOS land line service. This call Blocker depends on in-line power transmitted from the carrier. My FIOS line service doesn't transmit AC power in-line. I am not able to use it. I returned it and was very promptly credited. Amazon's RMA process is simple, easy to understand, prompt and courteous.I deally I would not need to return this call blocker. But since it was necessary, I have nothing but good words for the return process.

This device didn't work at all. I have Verizon Fios - I don't know if this is relevant but maybe it will help someone else. It gave trouble getting dial tone, interfered with caller ID and didn't block any calls. Tech support was awful and they said I need a DSL filter for my Verizon fios line. Haha Then they also said I need a splitter (huh??) The tech told me the device is working even though it won't block any calls. Ugh. Returned

This is great! see a name you don't recognize or unknown, hit BLOCK NOW, or punch in a code and number to add to the list. Only draw back is there is no list of the numbers but I'm so happy how efficient. Stopped unwanted calls by more than half!

I like the call blocker except for the fact if you accidentally block a number it can't be unblocked.

Great device, one push on the big red button and poof no more annoying caller. Hooked up device a d wham no more unknown caller or no I'd. Love this thing. Was all a sudden getting over ran by telemarketers and scammers. Bye bye all of ya's.

Works well, good value for price. Make sure your land line has enough female connectors to accommodate blocker and medical alert connections.

We've had it for several weeks now and it's certainly doing its job. A big problem for us was calls from 'Unavailable' (as reported by our Gigaset handsets). Simply setting the 'block Unavailable Callers' option didn't deal with all those, so I called the help line. They said there are are several variations on 'Unavailable' and suggested also setting 'block Withheld', & i that didn't work try 'block 'VOIP/IP Rouge Callers'.'block Withheld' didn't do the trick for our hard to block 'Unavailable' calls, but 'block 'VOIP/IP Rouge Callers' has done the trick. I've now removed blocking of Withheld as we do have some use of that and as our Gigaset DECT has a setting that can direct such calls, silently, straight to answerphone.The blocked calls register in the calls list (classified as Missed Calls) on our handsets (I presume that's intentional & maybe unavoidable? In a way it's handy), but they don't ring so we don't get disturbed.

Poor instruction manual - detailed blue light that should show when device was working, but didn't illustrate where the light should be! Although incoming and outgoing calls were OK, without any sign of the light couldn't verify whether or not call blocking was operational. Also referred to a supplied white cable that should be used in certain circumstances, but there was no such cable in the box. Finally no mention was made of how to set up the device when a VDSL modem router was in use. Returned to Amazon for a refund. Very disappointing.

Been using for a month now, I was receiving 4-5 spam calls a day. After installing the CPR call blocker and entering all the codes provided some out of area calls still being received. I was then given another code which blocked those too. Since then only 1 call received which I blocked. If you are tired of spam calls and don't need to receive calls from withheld or international calls then worth buying for sure.

FANTASTIC DEVICE, was getting 4-5 nuisance calls every weekday, nothing to lose so bought this device, easy peesie to set up, at 1st a couple of calls got through, 02872129997, 02883184560, 02387737874 and 01379384562 but just hit the big red BLOCK NOW button, have not heard from those numbers again, ONLY HAD MY CALL BLOCKER IN FOR A FEW WEEKS SO FAR BUT SO FAR SO GOOD, i am not convinced such a device will block 100% of nuisance calls but this CPR Call Blocker Shield come pretty dam close.

I bought this product as part of my son's Christmas present, he always researches things thoroughly and was very keen to have this. I'll more than likely order one for ourselves once I get his feedback.
