Nice helmet, a hair on the expensive side
This is a pretty solid full face helmet, though perhaps a little expensive for what you get. I purchased this helmet as well as the Smith Mainline full face helmet, so some of my points will compare the two.Likes:- Includes thinner cheek pads to help adjust the fit- Dial on the back allows you to snug up the helmet easily- Uses a traditional bike helmet bucket to secure under your chin, much much easier than the D-connector the Smith Mainline uses- Easy to take off and put back on- Fit was as expected. Iโm right on the low end of the L and had no issues with fit.- Lightweight. I wonโt say youโll forget youโre wearing it, after all itโs a massive helmet. But it isnโt a pain in the neck to wear.- Goggles work well with the helmet, no issues with the helmet pushing goggles down my nose or digging- Ventilation is fantastic. Doesnโt get overly hot. Slightly cooler wearing than the Smith MainlineDislikes:- The feel of the helmet (material quality) seems significantly lower than the Smith Mainline. It doesnโt feel like a premium helmet- Cost. You can get some of the less-popular colors of the Smith Mainline helmet for about $100 less than this helmet, and the Smith feels a lot more premium and comes with more replacement padding.- Lack of included pads. It just included cheek pads, where as the Smith Mainline includes additional head pads to really dial in the fit and feel.- Right out of the box the visor was very very bent, the padding adhesive wasnโt sticking, and one of the pull tabs on a cheek pad was unstitched. Not deal breakers, but it was very disappointing to need to fix so many things on a new, expensive helmet.Overall, this is a really nice helmet and fills the space of a nice relatively lightweight trail/enduro helmet for both advanced riders, and new riders looking for more confidence in the form of extra protection.

Nice and lightweight
I had a 100% Aircraft Carbon helmet, which is not particularly heavy for a DH helmet, but my neck would get so sore and tired by the end of a day at the bike park. I did all kinds of exercises to beef up my neck strength, but still, the thing that would make me call it a day before anything else was my neck just getting worn out. So I read a bunch of reviews, and settled on this POC Otocon, which is nearly a pound lighter than my 100%. Right away, the difference in weight was a game changer for me. I could get an extra lap or two after that, my neck no longer the limiting factor. Some may say that the POC is not the same level of protection, being sort of an "Enduro" helmet vs a full "DH." But honestly, I never felt unsafe in it. It obviously feels more airy and open than DH helmets do, but that's not a bad thing in my opinion. It feels like a well-built helmet. I haven't tested its safety, luckily. My only real gripes are with getting it on my head. The bottom of the chin bar is quite close to my face, squishing my nose as I pull it down. And the thing at the back of the helmet that adjusts to snug up the fit once it's on has a tendency to fold up as I'm putting the helmet on. But these minor faults aside, I really like it. The feel of it once it's on my head, especially with the light weight and good ventilation, is excellent.

Does the job!
Very comfortable and lightweight. Only criticism is the venting. Gets real warm, real fast wearing this.

2nd one with bent visor
This helmet is a sweet helmet and it fits me well. Comes with extra cheek pads. Unfortunately this is the second one I have ordered and returned because the visor comes bent out of the box. Both times. Not sure why this is happening to this helmet but for the price I certainly do not want a bent visor unless I bend it myself on a crash. But not out of the box

Fake
Just received this helmet and I'm pretty sure it's a fake. Kind of scary considering it's supposed to protect the most important part of your body. The one I got does not have a thumb wheel adjuster like the real ones have.

Lightweight and good air flow
You can barely feel youโre wearing a full face helmet. POC makes great products in general. They meet expectations on this one.

Runs a little small
For a full face Enduro helmet this thing is light! I absolutely love the style a fit (when it on my head). Itโs a little hard to put on and I went off their sizing guide. I have a POC tactical trail helmet and it fits perfectly, this one is just a little snug to get on and I even installed the smaller cheek pads. I would recommend this helmet though.
