A: It is clear.

**Q: Can this be used for a hydro transmission application? as in mtd lawn tractor, john deer, cub cadet, etc..**
A: The quick answer is yes.  The full answer is that it somewhat depends on temperature as this type oil can cause transmission failure.  John Deere recommends from -4F to 122F use 20/50.  
You might try looking into your specific lawn machine for guidance.

A: Yes, I’ve been using it for a while.  Best option I’ve found.   But, NOT for life support tanks like SCUBA.
