I hadn’t read this since I was in school. Great read!

In high school I was supposed to read this book, but never did. I promised myself 20 something years later that I would finally give this book a chance. I am glad I did. I enjoyed this book alot, but did find the scarlet letter theme very, unbearably, repetitive throughout the book. The print itself has several printing issues. On page 128 a period is missing, on page 171 in the first paragraph the end of the sentence is missing, and on page 172 first paragraph the end of the sentence is also missing. And as other reviews stated, the contents page doesn't match up to the rest of the book. But the bulk of the book seems to be intact, apart from a few missing words that can be figured out. Overall I would recommend reading this book.

Reading this for the first time. If I had been younger, I would never have seen the humor or understood the pathos.

Good typeface and page size. Also, plenary of space to make notes. Only issue… page number on the Table of Contents does not match the actual page in the book. I’m not sure if this was just a bad printing or if all copies are incorrect.
