Yellow Jacket 60430 Lightweight Swaging/Flaring Tool, 6 Positions

Just getting started into some HVAC stuff, but having bought 4 other kinds of swaging/flaring tools, this is the only one to own. Don't waste your money on hammer-in dies, the pliers or the cheap versions of these. These grip the pipe very firmly WITHOUT raising a huge burr and pinching the copper into a mess. It's sized correctly for SAE size ACR pipe, and both the swedging and flaring tools work perfectly and are very easy to operate. It's worth every dollar.

I like the size and versatility of the product, but after less than 3 years it was in the dumpster…. I have been doing HVAC for almost 20 years now, and have plenty of yellow jacket products, but this one let me down. The housing on the tool cracked from tightening, which rendered it useless. I would not recommend this product unfortunately.
