I keep my Jeep Renegade keys on a heavy Carabiner meant for rope climbing on my belt.One day I was outside using a power washer and a ladder. The ladder was at the wrong angle and I had to step off to prevent it from tipping over. My keys caught on the ladder, I barely saved myself and the keyfob broke.I was able to use super glue to fix it, but last week, the glue let go and it fell off my belt in the house (thank god).So I went on Amazon to see what was available, found these keyfob cases and ordered two of them. One of them as a spare. After I removed the smartkey from the old fob, I opened it, then carefully cut the plastic tab in the corner holding it in place. Removed the circuit board, then carefully lined it up in the new case.You want to make sure the circuit board is completely flat and not rocking when you melt the plastic post.I heated up the tip of a flat head screw driver, then flattened the plastic post in the corn while holding the circuit board in place. Next I had to use a thick cloth around the edges while I snapped it together with some snub nosed pliers after which I inserted my own key.It works perfectly and it's great to have my keys back on my belt rather than in my pocket.

Esta carcasa es exactamente igual a la original. OjO tienes que verificar bien tu llave inteligente pues hay modelos que usan más botones. En mi caso, esta me funcionó muy bien y ordené otra mas de repuesto. Excelente producto a un precio accesible. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Did not fit internal electronics as it seemed to be off on OEM specs and locking mechanism for emergency key fell out with one press.

Luckily I know where the lock, unlock, and remote start buttons are on this remote as I own two jeeps with the same type of remote. The print on these wears off very very quickly. Quality of the case itself isnt bad from what I can tell so far. It works, but there’s a lot of room for improvement as far as the buttons go.
