Transmission Shift Solenoids Tiptronic Compatible with VW Volkswagen Jetta GTI Golf 1.8T VR6 JF506E 09A

These solenoids appear to be just what the doctor ordered. All the shifting problems I had been having are gone. All the solenoids fit properly and are well made. Well worth the $250.00.....plus six hours of my time.......instead of the $2000 it would have cost me at a dealer.

I just installed these in my Jetta and after about 50 miles of mixed town and highway driving they seem to be working fine. They smoothed out shifting, and seem to have corrected the high speed shifting malfunctions that I was experiencing. The transmission working better has made the car fun to drive again. They don't look as well manufactured as the factory ones I took out of the transmission so I'm hoping they hold up as long as the factory ones did (about 160k miles). Changing them out at home is a nightmare and I don't want to repeat it. If you need new solenoids and you plan to do the work yourself I'd recommend these but plan on about a day and a half of work.
