Chamois Butt'r Ultra Anti-Chafe Balm, 5 oz Jar

I'm a big fan of the original cream, but I go on long (8+ hours) rides, so I figured I'd try this new version for longer rides. It works even better. Smells nice, goes on easy, and lasts and lasts all day. No saddle sores, no discomfort, no annoying numbing sensation. My new go-to chamois cream

I have tried several different kinds of chamois cream in the past, and was not 100% sure that this one would make a big difference, but I was incorrect. I use the regular semi better, but recently did a ride in Colorado at about 120 miles with 11,000 feet of elevation and it was a long day. I bought this specifically for this ride. It is less of a cream, and more like a thicker waxy product, and was a little bit weird to apply, but it worked exceptionally well.Post ride, I had some definite soreness, but was in my saddle for nine hours straight. As far as any chafing, road rash, or just saddle source, there was nothing, and I was extremely pleased with the comfort of my ride. I would highly recommend this for anyone doing longer rides. I am a definite believer, and will always have this on hand.

I purchased this product to assist with chaffing but when I received it and opened it the amount was less than expected, yes this is on me, I should have looked at the measurements more closely. The product itself did not dissolve as expected, it was grainy. I will go back to using the creamy version of this product.

Great for men and women, we (hubby & wife team) couldn’t speak more highly of this product. Multiple 50-60+ mile days on tour and not even a bump or tenderness. With other products, we found ourselves reapplying frequently but not this Ultra. It lasts long into the day. While Ultra might be more expensive than other crèmes, it’s like comparing apples to oranges…this feels different than others plus the container is good sized, the product lasts a long time as you don’t need much and the product lasts longer. It’s well worth it in our opinion and a good value.

It took em a while but they finally made a product that can compete with Assos and DzNuts. I would argue this stuff lasts longer and works better. My biggest gripe is that it feel a lot like petroleum jelly and less like cream. Although, when its on your butt you don't notice the difference, so its a non issue.A random but big deal for me is this product actually comes with a safety seal!!! So when ordering it online I'm no longer afraid anybody else has given it try. When stuff is going on my privates I wanna make sure its not tainted. In the past I've ordered a jar of Assos on amazon and found an obvious finger scoop mark (GROSSS!). Anyway, this stuff is great give it a try.

The media could not be loaded. I’ve been a fan of the original Chamois Butt’r for several years and have had great success with it. But this new, thicker, non-water soluble cream is the business! No longer do I have to lather up the chamois with 1/2 cup of cream. All I do is apply this new cream directly to my skin around the sit bones and I’m done! So far I have done rides of a couple of hours and have no signs that it’s failing after heavy sweats. This is the best, hands down!

Works well enough but it is too expensive considering the quantity you receive

Except its not, coming in at $29.99 for a tiny tin its a horrible value and is frankly overpriced. Theres no way that r&d, materials or logistics can account for these increases (an extra $5 in the last 3 months wtf) so will just use an alternative and advise others do the same.STOP BEING GREEDY
