Compact Edition Bible NLT, Floral TuTone (LeatherLike, Fuchsia Floral/Plum)

I bought this bible so I have something I can take along on short trips as I travel often, but didn't want to lug around my heavy study bible. For that purpose, this bible is perfect. Compact enough that you can even fit it into a large purse. With that said, keep in mind that this is not a study bible, which allows it to be compact. It is just straight scripture, no study notes at the bottom of pages, maps, or concordance are included. Also, because it's compact, the font is quite small. I would prefer larger print to avoid some straining, but I can manage reading it. The cover is nice, and I love the color, but it does appear a little cheap looking. Keeping in mind the price, and the intended purpose for which I bought this, I think this is overall a good purchase.

BEST! What I love about this BIble, for me is that it does not say BIBLE on front cover. I am not ashamed of my faith and often preach throughout my day. But honestly, when I am reading God's word, interuptions from onlookers can be distracting and dangerous for my walk with God. For example, with my old Bible, when reading on the train, folks would constantly interupt me while i was trying to read to ask me about the BIble. Sometimes I got to share but often, it was just a distrsaction. So GET THIS for 3 reasons- it's pink, it's light and gives you privacy so LATER, you can go preach!

This was a used version, the pages are a little ratty, and the print is very small, but I like this little carry around size.

I got this Bible for a friend and she complained that the last few pages were mouldy, like it had been left in the warehouse for too long or something. The workmanship wasn't too good either as the glue had also dried up and the imitation leather at the back cover was peeling off. Other than that, the font, colour and pages are ok. Maybe one should buy this at the store to personally inspect the quality and condition...

The outside box states "words of christ in red", but not so. Big disappointment since this was one of the main reasons I purchased this bible.

The print is small but is perfect for travel or for church where you will only read a few verses.

It is a lot smaller than I thought it would be. The print is tiny and I have a hard time reading it. May give it as a gift.

I bought this bible to replace the worn out one I take to church. It's very portable and as another reviewer mentioned the font is very good for the size of the bible itself. This makes it quite legible and easy on the eyes so that I find myself wanting to read it often.

A nice change from plainer bible. Very pretty fabric cover with silver edging to pages. Much admired by all ladies in my group !

Type/font size too small.

I purchased this to use alongside my NIV Bible to assist me in my Bible Study. I'm extremely pleased with this purchase as it has made my study so much more enjoyable and my One Year Bible Reading Plan is now going well.
