Mood Boosting Probiotic

First of all, I don't usually write reviews. This has impacted my life in such a way that I feel the need to write something if nothing else to help others going though what I went though. That said, I've been waiting to write this review because I wanted to wait a decent amount of time to ensure it wasn't wishful thinking or if there would be a rebound in my results. First I'm going to list some issues I've had that are relevant to my situation, and then fill it in with backstory. -=Symptoms beforehand=- * Constant Anxiety for no apparent reason. -always worried, no idea why. No major life change to worry about * Horrible nightmares that would come out of nowhere. (extremely realistic) * Stool was always soft and greasy * unable to sleep all night * Brain fog/confusion * odd lightheaded feeling that I can't explain in words * heart palpitations * unbelievable amounts of fatigue * no joy in doing ANYTHING, couldn't even get into TV * constant acid reflux, especially bad at night. -=Symptoms afterwards=- * Anxiety stopped in under a week of taking these two times a day * First few days I had stomach upset but it subsided fairly quickly * no more acid reflux after two weeks. * No more nightmares. * finally able to sleep an entire night * minimal fatigue to none now. (getting better every day, almost at a month) * brain fog has gotten much better * heart palpitations have almost completely gone away. * finally living and enjoying life again * Stool is more regular and no greasy. Small backstory: I'm sensitive to specific strains of Pro-biotics. I didn't always know this, but over the past few years its become apparent. My problem started after being on Nutrisystem shakes that contain a probiootic. (I didnt know it at the time but I created my problem because of this. Also found that "white pearls" effect me as well. After being on "normal" probiotics I eventually got a constant nervous feeling of impending doom which eventually turned into worrying about family, death, etc. not great stuff. I was constantly nostalgic and wishing I was back when times were good. (not that times aren't now, but I felt bad for so long I felt like this was what life was going to be like for now on) I had no idea why I had fallen into this feeling, but every day and every night I had it, for over a year. I was absolutely miserable. My Dr. tried to put me on Lexipro. -Biggest mistake for me ever. It compounded my issue ten fold, gave me insomnia, etc. I stopped the pills after a week due to not even being able to function at work. I never got back to baseline after that. Its the closest I've ever felt to insanity. When that didn't work he suggested I talk to a psychiatrist. I knew deep down this had to be a medical condition and not some underlying stress thing but didn't know what to do. I was alone with nobody to help. After much reading online I found information about what happens when you gut bacteria is off and how that effects well being. From there I found a group forum talking about many different similar issues I was having and they all recommended this product. I decided to purchase it and give it a try. (mostly because of the reviews) I couldn't believe that after a few days of starting this probiotic, finally, after over a YEAR of anxiety, I finally started to find relief. After a few days I had actually slept all night and was shocked. Truth be told, I'm pretty upset at the three Dr's I've gone to with NONE of them even suggesting a probitoic like this. In retrospect I don't even believe at this point they took me seriously because I didn't want to be on an SSRI. (basically it was my fault for feeling this way because I don't want to be on medication) Further When I discussed how my stomach was always upset and how fatigued I'd get after eating even small meals, it was suggested I just try other meals. Unbelievable. At anyway rate, if you've made it this far in this wall -o- text of a review, I'd implore ANYONE who has any of these symptoms to at least give this an honest try for a week. It has saved me in ways I can't even begin to explain. I keep a bottle at work and a bottle at home. That was I always have them for lunch and dinner. I Hope this helps even one person make the leap. I know not everything works for everyone, but this has changed my life and finally fixed the issues I was having. Stay well everyone!

I read hundreds of reviews while researching this probiotic blend. I am, already, noticing more calm and better mood (more like my old self) within 4 days. My son also commented how he felt more calm and focused and was so much more productive at work within 4 days of taking 1 capsule a day. I am taking 2 capsules a day--1 in morning and 1 in the evening. Can't wait to see how much better I will feel over time. I tend to be sensitive to supplements and I do have histamine issues after tapering off of a sleeping pill in 2021 (much better than it was), but no reactions to this blend, thus far. Husband is taking, too (1 capsule a day). Gut health is so important, but there are so many probiotic brands were you either don't notice any difference, or you have increased bloating & constipation etc. in the beginning. That has not happened for me, but I understand the power of natural remedies and was prepared to lower my dose and go slow if that had been an issue. I've read some reviews where people complained of headaches etc., but sometimes that is just a healing crisis and it's a shame more people are not aware of that and the need to proceed slowly. We all have different/unique microbiome compositions and that is why people can react differently to supplements. I will update, again, after we've been taking for a while and my neighbor has a lot of stress and so I am buying a bottle for her to try, too. SO FAR SO GOOD WITH THESE!! It's early, here, but I recommend them!!

I take this product with an SSRI and a mood stabilizer. The product nothing short of amazing and works better the longer you take it!!! I'm very in tune with my body and noticed a difference the first day! It has helped tremendously with both depression and anxiety. About 3 weeks in I found myself listening to the radio in the morning staring to beebop a little dance along with the radio.....in....the.....MORNING!!! :) I've taken it for about 2 months now and I have found my love of music again, I really missed that about myself! I used to turn the music up loud and sing and dance at home, before this product I hadn't done that for a loooong time. But I'm doing it again now! I find myself connecting and paying attention to things more. My anxiety is way down and I'm able to handle stressful things at work much better and I'm not as irritable. My mood is lighter and I'm just happier in general. I take this supplement in the evening as it chills me out too much to take during the day. However, my best friend takes it during the day as it gives her energy. You'll just have to try it out and find out what part of the day works best for you. I never put anything on auto-ship but I just did with this one last week! I seriously do not want to forget to order and be without this stuff! A WORD OF CAUTION WHEN TAKING WITH PRESCRIPTION MEDICATION: Start SLOW. I started with 1/2 a pill for about a week and then moved up from there to find the right dose for me. It took me about a month and a half to find the right dose but I've settled on 1 and 3/4 of a pill per day. If I take 2 whole pills I'm a little tired and my motivation suffers. I have seen some people say they can stop taking prescription medication with this, however, I feel I have a need for both. However, modern medication has only gotten depression and anxiety to "ok" levels. With the addition of supplements, I think we can get to "great" levels. A WORD OF CAUTION WHEN TAKING WITH OTHER GABA SUPPLEMENTS: I'd been taking L-Theanine before starting this. If you take this or any other GABA Supplements you will need to reduce the GABA supplements or you will be extremely tired. I slowly weaned off of the L-Theanine all together and replaced with Lifted. However, I was so nervous about reducing to fast that I spent a good week pretty tired. So as I went up on the probiotic I went down on the L-Theanine until I didn't need it at all.

I was skeptical when I purchased this, but figured it was worth a try. The price was similar to my usual brand of probiotics, and with the possible mood boost... sure, why not try it. The first day I took it, I felt a little more cheerful than I might have, given how stressful my day was. "Okay," I thought. "Placebo effect is fine, if that's what this is." The second day... more of the same. When stress was staring me in the face, I didn't succumb to awfulizing. I just kept going, and felt good about... well, feeling good. The third day, I had to admit that these probiotics seem to work. My mood remained upbeat, but not weirdly or inappropriately upbeat. I simply managed to sidestep anxiety, anger, and depression. After about five days, I quit taking them. Again, I wanted to see if anything changed. Two days later, I wasn't stressed to a frantic level, but I could tell that I wasn't as calm and focused as I had been when I took these capsules. (I'm taking one a day.) So, I'm taking them again. And my mood seems better, but not unnaturally giddy or anything... just a notch happier than before I took them. If this is placebo effect, I'm okay with that. The capsules are working and my mood is more even. (This isn't a cumulative thing... after two days, that's as "boosted" as my mood was going to get. After that, my mood stabilized at the higher level, as long as I kept taking these probiotics.) With these probiotics, I experience less anger, less exhaustion, and less anxiety. And that's a relief since my schedule can be overloaded and super-stressful at times. Yaaayyy for better moods!

Good product. Doesn’t hurt my stomach

I have now finished the entire bottle of these probiotics and I thought I'd share some positive and negative thoughts regarding them. First of all, these are shelf stable and that makes them convenient and easier to take regularly because even if you are traveling you can slip one of these in your purse so you don't miss any dose. I took my probiotic faithfully every day but I don't really feel it alleviated my anxiety nearly as well as my prior probiotic from Klaire. My anxiety really increased after my bout of COVID but I was able to get it totally under control using Klaire Lactoprime Plus and felt better then I have in a long time. When I finished the bottle of Klaire, I decided to give these a try since they were shelf stable. Sadly, I noticed several times while taking these probiotics that I had severe anxiety issues even though I was totally stable when I started them. Therefore, I have to assume these probiotics are just not capable of controlling anxiety to the degree they claim. I gave them 3 stars because I'm sure they help control mood better then no probiotic, and they are shelf stable which is convenient, but if you are having serious anxiety or depression or panic attacks, I would not start with these probiotics. Get a stronger multi strain until you start to feel better and then maybe use these for maintenance.

This is the best probiotic! I just love it. I've tried all kinds of different ones and this one stands out above the rest.

This probiotic does what they all do the first week or so taking it: produces awful gas! Yikes man. I let my body get used to it and after a few weeks I tried adding another half to my regime. Same thing, so no I'll stick to one. I purchased it with the hopes it could help me since I have a tendency to overdo things. I become interested in something, begin researching it daily out of curiosity & intense interest to learn as much as I can. Now, I'm on my 2nd bottle & I hadn't noticed any special improvements yet. And along comes another idea in my mind and not that it's a bad one.... renewal of my faith is what I'd call it.... but I was definitely diving head first into everything I thought, read, and talked about. It must be hard for my husband to live with me. So, as he always does he brought it to my attention that I was doing it again. I was turning a good thing into a bad thing. My response was calm, not defensive nor full of anxiety. I agreed he was right. I thought about what he said and didn't make an argument of it. Therefore, I am of the opinion that this supplement probably helped my mindset. Yay! Maybe that's a blessing I received that I didn't really know I needed.
