Will this cause any damage or excessive use on fretboard or frets? I’ve noticed the chemically coated strings in past have unwanted wear on fretboards

I tend to get LESS wear on the nut, saddle and frets/fretboard from the XS strings. I have been playing them on my acoustics since 2021, and they work great. The coating is not chemical, but rather thin polymere.

The half round EHR 310s are a great place to start. Long lasting string,less scratching noise from your fingers on the string.

Do the XS superlights come w colored-coded ball ends?

The XS series has color coded ball ends.

The XS packaging shows the color coding of std strings, but seems the actual string pkg are brass/slvr/blk. Is this correct? It's confusing.

That is correct. You’ll reference the inside guide was to what strings and which color for each. They’re also bundled in pairs so the low E and the A are together, the D and the G are together, and the B and the high E. No pair has the same color combo (brass with black, or silver with black) etc so if you work with each pair one at a time, I’ve found it the easiest to keep track of what I’m doing. Hope this helps!

Buenas cuerdas tension ligera

Llevo tiempo usando Daddario NYXL y esta ultima vez he decidido probar estas.Sin duda, cualquiera de las 2 son cuerdas de altisima calidad, pero estas me han sorprendido para bien.Afinan perfectamente y mantienen la tension. Son bastante ligeras en cuanto a la tension.Me gusta esta configuracion de cuerdas para mi Fender Stratocaster, el grupo grave tiene mas pegada por el grosor y el grupo agudo sigue siendo el estandar.A mi no me sudan las manos ni vivo en zona de mar, pero el baño Niquel, hace que sean mas duraderas.En cuanto a volumen, no he notado una gran diferencia respecto a NYXL
