Why isn't my transfer speed reaching 10Gbps?

Check that your PCIe slot is version 3.0 or higher and has x4 or more lanes assigned. Also confirm your USB device and cable support 10Gbps. x1/x2 lanes work but will limit speed.

Why does my system detect this card's ports as USB 3.1 instead of USB 3.2?

This is expected. Per USB-IF standards, USB 3.2 Gen 2x1 = USB 3.1 Gen 2 = USB 10Gbps. The naming differs, but the 10Gbps performance is the same.

Can I use the USB-C ports for charging or video output?

No. All ports support data transfer only. PD fast charging, BC 1.2 charging, and video signal output (DP, HDMI, VGA) are not supported. Thunderbolt protocol is also not supported.

Do I need to install a driver before using this card?

Install the driver before inserting the card. Windows 10/11, Mac OS, and Linux require no driver. Windows 7/8, XP/Vista, and Server editions do. If unrecognized, contact your motherboard vendor.
