I work Night Shift and often come home and trouble sleeping or in most cases just winding down so that I can fall asleep. Melatonin gives me crazy dreams and benedryl leaves me groggy. Had read that Magnesium can help with kids tic disorders. We tried another version (Magnesium citrate) and it didn't help. but when we switched to the "Chelate" his tics stopped after about 3 days. He takes it with every meal. I have looked for a cheaper brand, but I can't find the chelate form elsewhere. This is well worth the cost because for us it is working. I wish I had it when I was in adolescence and had a tic myself.
