Good for clawfoot tub supply lines
Used for shut-offs on clawfoot tub brass supply lines which are 1/2" compression. It was hard to find all chrome quarter turn shut-offs with 1/2" compression supply connection. These fit the bill perfectly for an exposed application. Good threads, no leaks.

Was missing parts. Unable to use.

Not 1/2 male.
1/2 inch supply lines do not fit this valve.

Not restricted as much
Just what I needed. A valve with less restriction. The photo shows the difference. Valve on left is a multi turn valve from big box store and as you can see has a much smaller way for the water flow. These quarter turn valves are much better for a shower install on my claw foot tub. With all the new water restriction laws it is hard to find a chrome valve with a good flow. These fit the bill and at a good price.
