So the good is these work well and the water tastes great. The bad is they don't fit right out of the box in my LG fridge. I was about to send them back,, but took the advice of another poster and clipped off part of the plastic wedges (angled part) more so I could twist them in. Worked like a charm, also used channel locks to grip handle to twist in.

I bought a pack of two filters, they are supposed to be good for six months each. I put one in in the middle September by the end of December I was tasting just regular tap water from my refrigerator with the chlorine taste. It did work well for three months.It’s just me and my wife at my home so it doesn’t get a lot of use. Just seems like it should have filtered water longer than three months.

This filter fit fine in my Kenmore fridge. It as been installed for about a month now.. No problems with leaks, taste or compatibility with the grossly overpriced Kenmore version (which sells for $49.00 for ONE filter) of same.I would purchase this item again for its performance and the price advantage over "Kenmore" unit is a bonus.Note - Kenmore branded parts have always been a total rip-off. But for them to charge $49 for ONE H2O filter unit is a disgrace and a total ripoff. Eddie Lampert (current CEO of Sears and a total idiot) has RUINED this company. Now they spend more time shafting loyal customers than working to make a great company from a once great brand. I used to be a devoted Sears customer for so many things.... not anymore...

I am giving these filters 5-Star. However, when I first removed my LG filter from my refrigerator and placed this one in, it just leaked a tiny bit --I feel that was because as I was running the water through the dispenser, it flowed fast, then slow, then slower, so I thought I would remove the filter to ensure I placed it in correctly. That was when it leaked just a little bit. It was probably my fault questioning whether it was working properly or not. I emptied the filter into the kitchen sink, shook it for a minute then placed it back in the refrigerator and just let it sit and do its thing. I ran the dispenser and it is working great! The water tastes clean and I an happy with the filter and the price I paid for the two-pak. I would buy them again.

I always keep my fridge filters up to date and paid top dollar in store for them. First time i’m using these filters. They were very easy to install and so far so good. They are supposed to last longer than the others I had used for years but I can’t speak to that yet seeing as this is my first go around with this filter. Price very good!
