I loved this story! So good!
Both Matt and Hailey were divorced and both had their confidence rocked as a result. Hailey had trouble putting herself out there, Matt questioned his ability to be there for someone the way he needed to be. I love these kind of stories, where the main characters find peace with their past. Both main characters were very likeable. Matt was a fabulous dad, but still a fun professional hockey player. Seasoned man on the team with some maturity that was so attractive. Hailey was a driven woman with a super cool business. Can I work at Fetch? I loved their story, how they came together, and how they helped heal the other. Something about this story really stuck with me, and I highly recommend this book!

Sweet story
I really enjoyed this book. It was heartfelt and sweet. The characters were fun and I enjoyed the banter and chemistry between Matt and Hailey. It was low angst but had plenty of fun moments and great side characters. It held my attention from start to finish and I'm looking forward to reading more from this series. I of course loved the dog aspect and that they mentioned helping an animal rescue in the story. Always a cause I support. This is a entertaining story that I would recommend to anyone who loves romance novels.

Some partnerships work better than others.
I can openly admit to being a little narrow-minded in my reads. It's easy to judge from the outside looking in. I knew that both the main characters were divorced before I started Stay and I admit to maybe rolling my eyes a wee bit. Was it going to be the she-bi+ch from hell ex? Maybe the cheating ex? Could it be the fell out of love ex? How about the jealous ex or the attention seeking ex? Yep, I’ve read them all before. Guess what? They were all of those things...kind of.I ABSOLUTELY loved this story. Maybe, having two very talented authors working together is a good thing when they can make magic like this series. They have created real characters who face everyday problems in a realistic way. The pacing was perfect, the dialogue flowed beautifully and the settings were easily pictured. I just felt comfortable reading Stay. For the first time in ages, I LOVED the heroine. I mean, for crikey sakes, they even had the heroine stuttering and stammering when she met her long-time crush. Bloody hell!! It’s been years since I actually felt that a heroine was portrayed that realistically. There aren’t too many people in real life who find it easy to talk to famous people. I get it! I really get it. There is no way I could hold a sensible conversation (without being a little intimidated) with the likes of David Gandy or my favourite authors. It was refreshing to meet a heroine, opposite a famous hero, who took a little while to get used to being with someone you admire…and maybe drooled over.…and the hero? Call me crazy, but how cool is it that we meet a man who doesn’t immediately find hook-ups after ending a relationship. Again…refreshing!! Look, to be honest, I felt really bad for this guy. He was beating himself up about something that wasn’t necessarily solely his fault. He knew that his career can play havoc with relationships…BUT SO DOES SHE!! It’s not like she didn’t know that he would have to travel for work. There is no way she could have been in a relationship (for ANY length of time) and not know that it takes time and dedication to be at the top level. It’s not like he can only turn up for home games or not train and keep in top form. Sorry, his ex still makes me a little stabby (if you read Stay, you'll know why). There’s just something special about Stay that can’t be described. Maybe it was because the main characters showed maturity, strength, courage and determination. ADMIRABLE! They weren’t stupid but they were capable of making silly mistakes. REAL! The characters found ways to communicate that were a little different but perfect to put the other at ease. SMART! They weren’t selfish and they had each other's backs when they needed it most. GENEROUS! All in all, they were just…comfortable…right…perfect, for each other. LOVING!Stay is part of the WAGs series. I think it could easily be read as a standalone but would be more enhanced if you know the other characters and the world they live in. It was great to catch up with the gang and see the support they give each other.I bloody LOVED Stay and I can’t wait for more in this series. I loved it so much it hit my Best-of-the-Best shelf.I’m wondering if the man-whore extraordinaire is about to leap and spin with his new coach?

Sarina and Elle know how to create endearing romance novel that makes me fall in love everytime I read their books!
Sarina Bowen and Elle Kennedy are back melting the ice with their latest release Stay, a hockey sports romance. This book is sizzling hot and keeps the rabid hockey romance fans glued to the game. Opening one of their hockey novels literally turns every single reader into a puck bunny looking to score a whole lot of love from their favorite player.Matt Eriksson is more than a sensational hockey player, he's the complete package. Recently divorced and suddenly single should be a dream come true but for Matt it's like swimming in a bottomless pit. He's trying to manage his demanding career while making quality time with his young twin daughters. Dealing with his ex wife is anything but pleasant. In fact it's worst than facing off with his opponent. Another ruthless player is a piece of cake, he can beat them down and come out on top. His ex wife holds all the cards where his daughters are concerned. His grueling schedule leaves little time for himself let alone his precious children. Forget dating, it's off the table. He can handle his ex's insane demands and insults but he cannot handle her threats of taking his time away from his children. To obliviate some of the pressure he has hired Fetch to handle his homelife needs so he can focus on his children. This service handles all his shopping needs, pet care needs, and other chores he just doesn't have time for. The added bonus is his anonymous, personable handler, Hailey Taylor Emery, aka HTE (hottie),anticipates his every need and jumps through hoops to meet them. When the company he hired to take care of his dog while he's away drops the puck she steps in to take care of his dog. He'd be up a creek without a paddle without Hailey. He's also very curious about who she really is and what she looks like. He decides to check her out on his home security feed app while he's away. She is indeed like her name, a hottee. He wants to get to know her on a personal level. A woman has finally sparked his interest after surviving the shark infested waters known as his ex wife.Hailey has recently gone through a divorce. Although her divorce was relatively easy and she's still business partners with her ex husband, she's still reeling from the hurt. Her ex husband was her childhood friend and only man she has ever been with. Dating a client is the biggest no no in her career and could ruin her business. The only problem is that it's Matt Eriksson, the hottest player on the ice. He's also one of the nicest men she's ever met. Should she throw caution to the wind and take a chance on Matt? Her heart says yes and her mind isn't far behind.Matt and Hailey are perfect for each other. Their relationship is everything they both wanted and needed. The problem is their personal lives aren't only theirs. They both have issues with their ex's and their relationship could cost them everything they hold dear. How do you deal with the past, manage the present, and move forward towards the future? They will have to figure it out and STAY true to their hearts.I absolutely loved this book. Sarina and Elle know how to create endearing characters with an engaging story that goes beyond the run of the mill romance novel. I fall in love every time I open one of their books.

Beyond 5 stars
5 Matt and Hailey StarsSarina Bowen and Elle Kennedy have really put the biscuit in the basket with this book. (Really hope I used the right ice hockey term there- totally had to Wiki that!) They are two authors whose individual work has been outstanding but when these two collaborate....wow!Matt Eriksson is a star hockey player for Toronto and Hailey Taylor Emery (Hottie) is the successful co-owner of 'Fetch' , an anonymous virtual assistant service which Matt uses. Hailey has adored Matt from afar for a long time- this girl is a die hard hockey fan- and she has a sneaking suspicion that Matt is one of her client's. Even before this becomes apparent there is definite attraction on both parts. Their emails to each other have a some sass and friendly flirtation to them. When they meet face to face that chemistry becomes palpable and the connection between them practically shimmers on every pageI am always a bit wary of stories where there is an ex spouse who is still very present in the character's life. In this case it was applicable to both our H/h. Matt has children with his ex so has to have contact and Hailey still co-owns her company with her ex husband. Not for one minute did I worry that anyone was still harbouring romantic feelings for past loves. Matt and Hailey were both blindsided by their respective ex-partner's requests for a divorce and it happened at similar times to each other also. Matt is beating himself up that he was a bad husband because hockey is such a strong force in his life and his ex wife berated him almost constantly for it. Hailey was stunned by Jax's request or 'suggestion' to divorce and is somehow still stuck in a rut, not really moving on with her life, until she encounters the man of her dreams. Then all bets are off. And all Kindles are overheating with the hotness that emanates from these two when their worlds collide.Matt is the loveliest hero. He is considerate, funny and damned hot. He melted me when he was with his girls and his dog. I loved how he recognised all the passion simmering under Hailey's demure surface and he took time to be patient with her and tease out all the feelings she kept locked away. Jax had been married to the girl but Matt truly discovered the woman. Perhaps some of the funniest moments are when he is with his teammates though: "Everyone shut it." I hiss. "Here comes my date. Pretend you're normal." "Good luck with that." Wrs snickers. "Mamma mia," Lemming mutters under his breath. "That can't be your date Eriksson. She's too hot for you"Hailey was a beautiful character. She was confident in her workplace and seriously kicked ass in the business world but she was endearingly shy around Matt. She had only ever been with Jax and they worked much better as friends than lovers. Her inner resolve and strength was impressive and yet a couple of scenes , I cried with her. Hailey got under my skin and she is a favourite heroine for sure. The secondary characters written by these two authors always work incredibly well and are intrinsically woven into the fabric of each book they write. This is no exception. The cast of this book enhance its strength and warmth. There is a little bit of angst but these two are made for each other and I loved every page. In the words of our heroine, "I'm a goner for this man. Our relationship might not be 'official' but holy hell, I officially feel all the feelings for Matt Eriksson."He sure does send your kindle heart a-fluttering. And I'm still smiling and sighing now looking back over the passages I highlighted. It is such good book. It is the second in the WAG's series and is a spin off from the Him and Us series- all of them are awesome reads that I would highly recommend.HEA? Yes ....and it is GORGEOUS!!!Cheating? No. These two are solid and so much the smitten kittens with each other.Worth staying up til the early hours to read because I couldn't possibly put it down? Hell yeah. But then that's how it is with books that steal your heart away.Beyond 5 stars....

Another winner from two of my favourite authors
Four stars. I really liked it but I didn’t love it. Maybe because Hailey and Matt were just such nice people?Hailey and her ex-husband run a business call Fetch which does exactly that for wealthy individuals. From 4 am cheesecake orders to nappy deliveries to buying an entire apartment’s full of furniture for a recently divorced client. Nothing is too much trouble or out of hours. As co-owner Hailey looks after their very special or very difficult clients – and she has one of each. The special client Sniper87 MIGHT be her favourite hockey player Matt Eriksson, but she is too professional to break her client’s request for confidentiality and look at his personal details, even though she has every right as the co-owner. The difficult client likes to send dick picks to illustrate every request he makes, many of which are for sex-related items. After her favourite client messages her to complain that the dog-walker sent by the service she recommended walked round his apartment taking pictures and fondling things (!!), Hailey agrees to find a staff member to walk Rufus for Sniper87, but decides to do it herself.Matt Eriksson is a divorcee and a father of five year old twins. His ex-wife Tara hated hockey and spent their entire marriage complaining about everything Matt did and didn’t do, things haven’t changed much since his divorce and at 30 years old he feels like a veteran compared to some of the young kids on his team. Trouble is, at his age, he doesn’t want one-night stands and hook-ups with puck-bunnies. The one thing he enjoys is the online chat with THE (or Hottie as he thinks of her), the person who answers 90% of his Fetch requests. The two of them have a great rapport and he wonders if they could take it further. When he watches the security video of the latest person to walk his dog Rufus he is struck by the looks of the young woman he sees and wonders if she could be Hottie. There are plots involving Matt’s ex-wife and Hailey’s ex-husband but they are the normal kind of dramas that can be expected when you are still connected to your ex, nothing outlandish or unbelievable. Oh and we get more of the WAGs and Wesmie, so that was nice. There is just one thing that felt off to me. (view spoiler)However, maybe if this had been written by anyone other than the incomparable Elle Kennedy and Sarina Bowan I would have rated this higher – these ladies just set the bar so flippin’ high.

Yet another fantastic hockey book by the fab Sarina Bowen and Elle ...
Yet another fantastic hockey book by the fab Sarina Bowen and Elle Kennedy! This book tells the story of Matt and Hailey (or hottie as shes nicknamed by Matt).... these guys were just seriously cute from the start and i couldnt wait to find out if they managed to make it work out or not. As always with these books they are so easy to open up and draw you right in not putting it down until it ends.Aswell as reading all about Matty-Cake and Weather Lady its always great to hear about others from previous books like Wesmie and Blake....blakes nicknames included as always!!I will continue to read all these authors write!

Another great read
Catching up with the characters from previous books was a blast. So was watching developments between HoTtiE and Sniper87. Is Will going to have his story told, and Mr Dick? There is a delightfully light touch in this series (and I hope it's going to be more than 2 books - pretty please), but the real life difficulties some people face have been dealt with, in ways which I think are encouraging, without seeming too much like saccharin.

So sweet and charming!
I really enjoyed this book from Elle Kennedy and Sabrina Bowen!Matt and Hailey were both characters that were more on the realistic side, having both been married previously and disillusioned by those relationships. However Matt really helps Hailey come into her own and find her confidence again and Hailey accepts Matt for who he is and doesn't try to change him or punish him for disappointing her.Next, I would love to read a story involving Jenny and maybe MrEightInches.... ?? Anything is possible with these two Authors at the helm right?
