The belt is connected and way too high on the waist. I got it for a Christmas gift and he hated it so much that he left me, and it behind.

Not plush or a rich fabric. It is soft though. Do not give as a gift to anyone else. Received mine and it looks very cheap and raggedy. It should sell for about $15.00 Looks like something someone would find at a second hand store. Not what I was expecting at all. My guy is 5.5 @165lbs and I got the medium. Fits too big in the body and shoulders. A small would have been better. Be warned.

I got the medium, maybe i should have gotten the small. Its quite big but still fits.I am 5'8, light built. The medium size is around 8 inches off the floor, I should have gotten the small but medium is ok though. Im not returning this.Full fluff on the inside including the hood.Outer cover is like satin or silk smooth feel, really really smooth.. i wonder what material its made of...Thickness of the fluffy hair, end to end is about 1.5cm so it is thick - remember its the fluff thickness so its compressible maybe to 0.5cm.Tie is sewed at the back so you won't loose it.2 pockets, I'd say medium depth on both sides.Is it heavy? Yes, quite heavy for a robe but probably because of the thickness.Is it warm? Yes. Very, and excellent for winter. I actually forgot to turn the personal heater on while wearing this.Big soft smooth warm

This robe is fantastic -- extremely soft, fits comfortably (medium is true to size but not fitted), and the sewn-on belt is a great feature. The robe does shed little black fluffs if not washed first, but once washed this was no longer an issue. Highly recommend this product -- I may purchase it again as gifts.
