Top drawer all the way
I have nothing to criticise with great overcoat Quality brilliant, fit great, it has a bonus inside with a hidden zipper unit that pulls up to the neck and gives the coat a luxurious feel that in a high street store would be twice price. Finally it is a winner that makes you feel good. G.P.W

30% WOOL does not make a WOOL coat. Buyer Beware
I found this to be a lovely coat with a few issues. Namely it is a wool mix but a LOW woollen mix. 30% to be exact. Hardly what I would call or term a woollen coat. Also the shoulder pads are really strange, they are totally bizarre and look really odd on. That more than the low wool mix killed it for me. I could perhaps have forgiven the low mix ratio, if the shoulders didn't look like they needed some sort of military decorations...like tassels perhaps.A real disappointment and to think it came all the way from China too.

Nice enough coat. Some issues. Buy a size smaller.
Overall, this is a nice coat. You should probably check with the seller or a size guide, or just start with a size down first of all (or maybe a size further from medium, in either direction). The one that was shipped to me had clearly been returned, arriving stuffed into the bag with random hairs and fluff on it :/The removable winter collar is a nice feature, though it can mangle a shirt collar a bit too easily. It's also annoying to fit/remove, with a tiny elastic strap that you have to stretch out, then get the button into, and hope you got it right so it's not twisting all the time. You probably only have to do it either end of winter, so not so bad. On the other hand though, I don't see that button+elastic loop over the button mechanism lasting over many seasons, and it'd be a small pain even for a tailor to repair once broken, I suppose. I don't know why they didn't just use a zip for that part too. Saving pennies, maybe. The front is a little too uncontrollable for my liking. The faux breast pockets are not even sewn-down pockets; they're FLAPS, with a tendency to flap OUTWARDS rather than down. Not ideal to have a pocket flap pointing out at people. But in describing it I'm making it sound a little more than it is. Mostly you wouldn't notice it. The front pocket zip also insists on dangling; it would have been nice to have the option to zip the thing, then tuck the zip handle into the two hems either side of the zip, but no such option here.Overall, a nice coat, just think carefully if THIS particular pea coat is the style you want (extra winter zip thing and pocket and zip wise, etc.), and be careful about choosing a size, unless you have plenty of time to change it later.
