First off let me tell you I was completely happy with it upon arrival, it fit my need quite well and still does.I have only had one problem with it, the shoulder strap where it hooks to the bag on the back side via the metal clips, it has completely come undone, I carry it around every day I'm out working so it getting some heavy use.Ive kinda fixed it by looping the clips through the belt loops and so far its working great but still a bit of a pain,

only problem was the leather straps that is to hold canteen are really thin

Junk! As soon as I put the shoulder strap on and hung it over my shoulder, with the bag empty. The so called leather ripped and pulled the metal ring right through. This is DEFINITELY NOT meant for any kind of real use. Its nothing more than a halloween costume accessory! I wouldn't recommend this to anyone! And the only reason for a star, is I cant leave a review without giving at least one star.

The color is very green, the leather especially on the attachments for canteen or mess kit is garbage. Ripped straight of the first time I used it.

It works. so far no problems with anything braking and ripping. Good for reenacting ww2.

Its darker than the picture, which from buying from here before, i figured alot of their stuff is darker than the picture. But its wonderfully made, I use it for Airsoft to hold mags and BB's and when filmmaking to carry small items like Gaffers tape, snacks, etc. Love it!

I was very disappointed by the low quality leather used to hold the strap loops on. I tried hanging my m31 canteen on one of them (it should have been able to hold a filled one.) and it broke from the weight. Which basically makes it useless on a practical level.
