These boats are absolutely amazing, claims they have a 20 minute run time, but its closer to double that, I timed it and they ran 35 minutes which meant that we got an hour and 10 minutes run time through both batteries.I have 3 sons one is 16 and two are 13, they played with them and had no complaints other than one boat is easily faster than the other 2 so racing isn't possible because one always wins, but playing tag like they do, they can play for the full hour and 10 minutes and be happy. They are meant for calm water in a pool or a pond but they work fantastic. All you do is separate the boats and put them in the water, turn on your closest remote and they usually program to thag remote, then you can get close and play.If you bought 3 rc boats from Walmart for the same price, you'd have less run time, none rechargeable. Not 2 batteries, and they wouldn't be able to race because they'd all have the exact same frequency and it'd be a nightmare. This is easily one of the best RC purchases I have made. Would recommend these to any friends or family with 3 or more kids. I even enjoy playing with them with the kids.Amazing and perfect. Would definitely purchase as a gift for relatives with kids.

As I said, I am surprized that the three boats, wich look great, ( even an extra batery) So didnt the makers plan on different channels? They are deffinetly cool however most people will play with them together but one controler operates all three/ iTS NOT YOUR FAULT aMAZON

They were so fun to play with in the pool.

Purchased this for my son for Father's Day. He has a pond in the back yard of his new home. I was hoping for a Mom, Son, and Grandson experience to build memories. Well, 2 boats worked.... so it is more of a 2 generation memory than an 3 generation memory. Kinda sad since 30 days passed before we tested them out to find one not working at all. The other two worked fine for the 1 day used so far.

Another made in china (lowercase intentionally) product without any quality control. Boat one - one of the propeller motor not working out of the box. Boat two - worked perfectly for like 15 min until filled with a water and as we all know electricity and water doesn’t play well, so boat stopped working. I will not even bother to try to dry it out. Hopefully one day there will be a law which drastically fines manufacturers and distributors for selling trash like this.
