Father's Day came early. My wife bought me this beautiful grilling set. I can't say enough about how happy I am with this product. I thought it was time to update my BBQ utensils and decided to browse Amazon for anything that looked interesting. I ended up deciding on this Schmidt Bros selection based on how elegant they looked in the photos. They did not disappoint. They look even better in person. They also came in this amazing box that made me immediately think they'd be great for gifting, but I'm keeping these for myself. They feel lightyears better than my old utensils. The quality of the steel is noticeable at first touch. The basting brush is also surprisingly nice (I didn't know they could be made this well. I would highly recommend this product.

Overall build quality is good except for the tongs. Every time the tongs are lifted so the tips are higher than the handle, the latch that holds the tong closed will slide down and lock the tongs so have to flick the latch back so the tongs will open again. Annoying when it constantly does this during a cook.

I gifted this to my husband for Father’s Day. It comes in a very nice case that can be used for storage, and they look expensive, but because they are metal all the way through, they can get hot.

These feel lighter than you would expect but I love the way they look. I am already getting compliments. Yes, they do not feel like some heavier duty versions I have, but I am also not lifting a 20 pound slab of meat off my grill. The only feedback for the manufacturer is to have a metal hook or something similar at the end as opposed to the leather loop. It will not last going through the dishwasher a few times. Otherwise, I like this set.

First time I dropped the basting brush the head broke off. Their fancy black wood box came busted.Zero stars. Would not recommend.

I’m was surprised that the tools were so sturdy and heavy duty yet sleek and functional. I quickly realized while using them that they were perfect for handling everyday barbecuing and cooking for a large group of people! The packaging is high quality and really easy/perfect for storing the tools between use. Cleaning them is soo easy because the material is smooth and there’s pretty much no edges somehow! Great design, highly recommended!

Great looks, functionality, and fabulous customer service. Gifted, and well-received. Only thing I would change is to use actual nuts and bolts on tongs to allow disassembly and cleaning of tongs together rather than the punched tension held parts, and same for the metal head of the basting brush. While the basting brush is replaceable, it would be great to be able to replace to mount for a different brush size? Overall a great product so far.
