Magnifico!
I have dreamed of the day that I would/could make my beloved pasta without making a major commitment. It has arrived! Barilla is an excellent brand pasta; I love Rotini & it keeps me honest when it comes to portion control. Tossing a bag of this in the microwave for 60 seconds rocks my world & makes it easy to throw together a quick meal with a little marinara sauce and/or vegetables. My husband doesn't feel that it comes out soft enough --- well, he only has a couple of teeth left anyhow. It's affordable; better to order in bulk so you don't have to keep running to the store and/or letting conventionally cooked pasta go to the back of the fridge to become a new science experiment. I love this stuff! Highly recommend!

when you need pasta but dont want to make enough to feed an army
I order the Rotini. All ready cooked, and ready to go. Eat it hot or cold. This is an item of convenience. I keep several tucked away in my pantry for emergency use as there is minimal to no preparation needed if the power goes out or if water isnt available. Works nice for camping, traveling, or simply as the ultra easy way to get a quick meal. Good for use on hot humid days when I dont want to heat up the kitchen.I hate reviews that just day "gross", or "bad", or "good". Nothing else. Cant they provide a few more descriptors to make it helpful? And so I took a chance, and am pleased with this product. I like Barilla as a dry pasta product, the flavor and texture stand out over many brands. This is my first foray into precooked ready to eat pasta, and I am pleased with the taste and texture. I chose the rotini shape because it is going to hold spices, sauces, and bits of other food I add to it better than other shapes. I figured I would get something that would work for various applications. Otherwise I normally eat a lot of elbows and spaghetti. This has a hint of olive oil and salt. Just enough to where if you had to eat it as is, it has some enhanced flavor. I like it, and had already purchased another pack before writing this review. Now I have it on subscribe & save.Nice for portion control too. Not just for consuming, but for actually making. Who else makes enough pasta to feed an army, when just cooking for 1-2 people? *raises hand* :D

Product good, Amazon's fulfillment bad
I've purchased this product at least 4-5 times previously, because it's a very handy, easy, fast way to make some reasonably healthy, reasonably tasty pasta--once in awhile. However... Every previous order had a decent expiration date, while the latest order, on 11/2022, has a 01/2023 expiry. Not cool, Amazon. (I still have a few packages left from an order I placed months ago, with a 05/2023 expiration!)Not a good value if it expires before I can use it!

Staple in my house
So this has become a staple in my house I get the box delivered monthly so I can have always have just incase. The taste is slightly different but not to the point were I wont eat it or it taste nasty plus i use it for pasta meals so the sauces normally over power any difference in taste to the pasta but it's definitely a quick resolution for a quick meal I make 2 packets for a family of 4 but I gotta have these in the house

Perfect amount of pasta!! Meal for one or Side Dish for two.
This is so easy! I live alone, and sometimes I want pasta for dinner. I don’t need to boil up a whole pot of water and a whole bunch of pasta (because I know I will end up with way too much in the pot!), so this is just perfect! I buy a jar of my favorite pasta sauce, and dress it up with extra spices. Then I put some in a bowl, dump in a steaming hot pouch of pasta, stir, and I have a tasty hot meal in literally two minutes! Just a bowl and fork to clean up! Sometimes I’ll toss some frozen meatballs in the microwave or toaster oven to add to it, and top with shredded mozzarella or grated parm! It’s also GREAT for small batch pasta salad! I use the rotini for that. I let it cool, add frozen peas, sliced black olives, cherry tomatoes, diced green pepper, and douse with lite zesty Italian dressing. Put it in the fridge for a few hours or overnight, and put more dressing on before eating it.These pouches of pasta, ready in one minute, are just perfect for so many things! I’ve also cooked a pouch and added it to tomato soup! Top with croutons, and you have another great two-minute meal!

You can make a delicious meal in minutes!!
I love this stuff! Every variety of Barilla Ready Pasta is cooked to perfection right out of the pouch, just heat and eat. If I feel like having vegetarian one day, I ladle on a bit of sauce, slice some shrooms and a few spinach leaves and pop it in the microwave for 60 seconds - delicious! Next time I add some cubed chicken breast, a couple grinds of mixed pepercorns, freeze-dried lemon powder and a tablespoon of butter. Pop it in the microwave for 60 seconds and sprinkle with fresh grated parmesan and - WOW! Fresh and delicious! If caseroles are your favorite go-to, this ready cooked pasta is perfect every time, never gets gummy or mushy because it is al-dente when you add it to your favorite recipe - perfect! I can't wait until they start making more varieties of ready cooked pasta!

No Problems -- Monthly Subscription for About a Year Now
Judging from the other reviews (with pics -- eeeewww!) it's clear that Barilla has had some quality issues that I seriously hope they've dealt with. Or maybe it's a regional thing? I don't know, but I've been getting a box of six of these every month for about a year, and I love them. I've never seen a single package that's moldy or smells off or anything. They're incredibly convenient, and I like the slightly chewy texture far better than the mush that most Americans serve. My "temporary" digs while moving between cities have turned out to be a 1.5+ year refuge from the pandemic. Which has been great. However, it's an "executive suite" kind of place. Well, wannabe, really. There's a shared kitchen down the hall that I stopped using when the infection rates started to rise. In my apartment, I just have a microwave and a small refrigerator with a tiny and unreliable freezer compartment. I had to get creative with my meal planning, and Barilla's new product was extremely timely, and one that I plan to keep getting, even after I have a full kitchen again.
